Update 25.2.2 closes all the tabs instead of one tab at a time
Just after downloading the latest update, instead of closing one tab/page at a time, Illustrator started to automatically close every single opened page. It's happening with both Command + W and via the close button at the top of the page.
Please advise.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

If several windows are open they are frequently all closing even when not saved when only one window is closed - but not always - I know which window Im closing and its not the main app window.

We have tried to address this issue in our Prerelease build of 25.2.2 and fix is not yet available to BETA of 25.3 .
Kindly try with the Prerelease build of version 25.2.2 from CCD “Prerelease” tab in Categories section.Regards

I have just installed the Beta 25.3 and this bug is still present on my imac OS Catalina 10.15.7
It does, however, seem to be a bit more intermittent, after trying several files several times, it did not close all tabs every time. -

I too am having this issue with 25.2.2, really annoying and time consuming problem. It happens with Cmd W or clicking the cross on the tab.

Known issue, is getting fixed.
Downgrade a subversion back or wait a bit more for a fix. -

Hello, why with the latest update when I have , example, 3 files opened and I want to close only 1, the other 2 closed together with the other????

Big problem this for me and my work buddies, working on many files at once. This is causing mega probs.
Needs fixing update asap please!! Do not like reverting back to old versions.

Same Problem here, and it does not ask to save all tabs which is weird. Just some.
Also made my Illustrator Crash once but i didnt save/send report. -

Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 / Illustrator desktop 25.2.2 (updated 2 days ago)
Slightly different than other reported issues that I see here in that shortcuts are not being used.
When clicking on the tab closure, all open files are closed as well.

whit version 25.2.2 cmd W for mac close ALL the documents.
