Color Reduction Options reset after restart (keep Preserve White and Black checked)
- MacOS 10.13.5 / AI 22.1
- changing "Colors" to all, untick "Preserve" White and Black
- I expected these options to be saved and the same after a restart of AI
- after starting AI "Colors" are always reset to "Auto", "Preserve White" and "Black" is always ticked
Some of the color reduction options are always reset after restarting AI, e.g. "Colors" will always revert back to auto and "Preserve" white and black will always be ticked.
Colorize method on the other hand will stick.
This is like this since at least a couple of versions, also on Windows 10 with AI 22.1

I use Recolor very often. But everytime I opened Recolor, I have to open Color Reduction Options to untick Black, White. How can I make my preference as default so that I dont have to repeat that action again? Why it must reset my preference everytime I open Illustrator.
Can you make Preserve White and Black untick as default? Or at least don't reset my untick as tick again.

Update: MacOS 10.14.1 / AI 23.0.1, the issue is still there.

These options change not just on restart, but every time the Recolor Artwork panel is opened. I want to be able to set Preserve Tints to default.
Replacing colours is already an unwieldy process, having to change the settings to something more suitable every single time makes it an absolute chore.
