Do you have a tablet connected, Rolando?
If yes — do you have Enable Wacom option checked in Preferences?
If yes — does disabling it (and restarting Ai) fix the problem? -
Looks like just text is selected... this is odd!
Does it happen for any text, in any file, typed with any font?
Please provide as much info as possible, Rolando.
