Repeat objects ignore Select > Inverse command
Take a look at the GIF attached and the file.
I select the magenta square and use Select > Inverse to select everything but the square.
It select the circles, the black one and the white one (inside of Radial Repeat) — all correct.
Now I try Select > Inverse one more time, expecting to get the opposite result, only the magenta square selected.
But the Radial Repeat object stays selected.
It must not.
These applies to other repeat types as well.

If you have a problem with something invisible being selected, but it’s not about Repeats — perhaps it’s a different problem, reported here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/38323183 — it needs test files.
