  1. Importing images/files from Google Drive

Not sure if it’s been suggested already or if it’s even possible but importing images/files directly from Google Drive would be quite convenient.

  2. Deal with markup directly

Add a feature which enables the user to directly input SVG markup into the application, instead of having to import an SVG file all the time. Will save a lot of time for those who make SVGs by hand like me.
Also, I would like it if I can just switch from graphical editing to markup editing seamlessly within the app. It would help with developing SVGs a lot.

  3. Open files directly from Dropbox

Hi! First of all its great to be part of this finally.

But now the important. It would be very nice if we could open .ai files directly from Dropbox etc. without having to saving it to Files etc. As you can see there is no option to open directly in Illustrator even though it’s .ai file.
And no way to allow it in settings as far as i know, so i reckon its matter of the app rather than the OS.

    Thanks!

  4. Publishing PDF files whit PDF/X-4 compatibility for professional printing

PDF files for professional printing are high-quality reproductions of your publication that are passed to a print partner (normally external to your company). You'll typically require a CMYK document, printer marks, bleed, >300dpi images, and PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 or PDF/X-4 compatibility (for CMYK output).

Affinity Designer 2 can do it!

  6. Import Video to layers

Import short videos with FPS editing that brings each frame as a new layer to create animations/templates

  8. Could you make the option to set it as a past version?

I use illustrator (desktop) to make a file for laser engraving machine or cnc.
And that machines only read illustrator version 8.
I usually use desktop to do this but sometimes I can’t access to desktop so I wish I can use that function with my ipad.

  11. This is for Illustrator DRAW (which doesn't have an option in your list)

I hope to be able to open a legacy Illustrator for Mac file in Illustrator DRAW on my iPad. I have so many!!! Either open it outright or open it as a background that I could sketch over. Thank you.
