"Video Safe Areas"
Hi. I've been asked to remove the video safe areas, margin and center mark from a new Video document, and had to look online to find that those "guides" where related to the artboard (each artboard, btw) and not to the document's preferences (which makes sense, btw).
Where I searched for them : in the view menu (and read carefully), in the preference, UI, in the properties panel. Took me a while to get to the artboard tool, then artboard options.
May be the 3 "guides" could be linked to a single button in Artboard tool properties panel…

Allow to move panels between displays all at once easily
When using multiple displays, if I use Illustrator on one screen and move it to the other, my panels like Character, Paragraph, Layers etc. (small windows) don't move with the program to the next display. Even if the program is closed and opened they don't move to the correct screen that the program is now opened at. Please fix this. It's especially frustrating when using Ps, Ai, InD and all of the panels can’t be consolidated for their respected program at the click of a mouse.

Voice activated commands
What if all your basic commands could be said aloud? For example:
"File, save, export, save for web, jpg, 72 dpi, save, save to X folder..." or "select same fill color and stroke color, change to PMS246, object ungroup, select tool, select Layer 1, add 2 point white outline"Why would this be cool?
I am the worst at remembering short keys or using short keys and I'm sure not the only one. When software gets updated, sometimes things get moved in menus and that can be frustrating. I can say the commands faster than I can point, click or…

Visual indicator between a layer and a group
In the layers panel, a group and a layer look the same in appearance. Thus, when a named group un-grouped accidently, it loses its name. This mostly occurs due to lack of visual dissimilarity between and group and layer thumbnail. May be a small marker in the corner of the thumbnail (indicating whether its a layer or a group) should do the trick.

Search tool just like Photoshop’s Ctrl/Cmd + F
This is one of the first things I missed when I went from using a Mac to a Windows PC. Luckily Photoshop integrated this in the Windows version, a simple Search option to search your entire interface and more. A lot of people know tools but don't know where to find them, it's simply too much. With that search bar your efficiency will skyrocket, no more going to internet to look up a tool trough a lot of web pages.

Support (like all other software) Ctrl-Ins, Shift-Ins and Shift+Del for Copy, Cut and Paste
It's a common behavior on windows the Ctrl-Ins, Shift-Ins and Shift+Del for Copy, Cut and Paste.

Add Corner control into Properties panel
I would like to see Adobe add the Corner control to Properties panel for more precise control. The Corner Widget is too random.

Ability to invert the zoom direction when using option+scroll.
I'm scrolling down to zoom in & up to zoom out (using option+mouse scroll)- there should be an option available to invert this methinks. Just seems that it should be the other way around.

Magic Wand tolerance slider more convenient.
Please make the tolerance slider for the Magic Wand tool more convenient.
Two clicks (or three) is unnecessary.
C'mon team. The tolerance slider could be immediately available on the Magic Wand Palette.
Simultaneous numbers with the slider would be ok.
The tolerance number could be visible as a "hover" with a blank space for anyone seeking a specific tolerance.
Please make the slider immediately available. Thank you.

The "new update" popup message is gross
A. Add a "don't show this again" checkbox because I don't want to be reminded later nor do I want to update on anything but my own terms.
B. Add a space between the period and "Know more..."
C. Choose a different call to action that isn't "Know more" because what?
D. Actually just don't show popups for anything. I pay you to draw vector lines and that's about it.

Keyboard shortcut for Properties panel
There is a keyboard shortcut to go to any other windows option except this.. I don't know if it is because it is a new feature, but this should really be implemented... Can there be a mappable keyboard shortcut for the new properties panel on illustrator

Duplicate Layers with sequential numbering rather than "copy"
When you duplicate a layer it would be much better if, rather than the XXXX copy suffix the duplicate layer was numbered. And preferably numbered XXX_0001 (or a format one could specify in the Preferences). This would make working with layers much much easier - especially when working with After Effects.

Add "Edit With" to the Illustrator menu when working with images! Indesign has this and it's very convenient. Its a no brainer to add it to Illustrator!!!!!!!

Now the button in Control panel (and in Links panel menu) says ‘Edit in Photoshop’. You also can change it back to system defaults in Preferences > File Handling section.InDesign has more options, that is true, so please comment back if you need a larger list — but please give a solid justification why :)

'Tab' and 'Shift-Tab' to navigate when renaming Assets

While renaming assets in the Asset palette there's currently no way to move to the next or previous asset using the keyboard. When there are a large number of assets this makes for a tedious process.Goal:

Keyboard shortcut to switch between colour panels (RGB/HSB)
I use both the HSB and the RGB colour panels all the time. To switch between them, the user currently has to select from the options menu or shift-click multiple times to cycle through.
What would be really great is to be able to assign shortcuts to specific colour panels.

DEAR ADOBE: You are uniquely positioned to study handedness in a way that has potentially never been more insightful. Please invest in tech-development, research, and design to make your tools unique, more efficient, and more useful for left-handed, right handed, ambidextrous, or custom users (either hand preferences, foot pedals, or other). This includes interface, hotkeys, and mental models, interactivity, etc. Potentially, a "righty" could learn from "lefty"mode. And vice-versa. "Everyone/standard" mode is critical.
