Top toolbar should display true length and width of shapes, not the "properties" of the shape.
It's very confusing when you reference the top toolbar to see the length and width of a shape only to realize the values are completely wrong. This is because the top toolbar displays the "properties" of a shape for whatever reason. The length of an object should always be the longest horizontal measurement, and the height should always be the longest vertical measurement, regardless of rotation. Despite not displaying true length and width, the toolbar uses symbols which clearly indicate length and width: a double ended horizontal arrow first, then a double ended vertical arrow second. Quick View (Space Bar on Mac) "elements" in Libraries "Tab Group"
You can hover over Libraries elements and see more written info. But as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and a large "quick viewing" would help speed up the identification and selection of elements from Tab Group.

Error en la traducción al español - Menú «Ver»
En el menú «Ver», la primera opción dice «Ver CPU en uso»/«Ver GPU en uso», pero en inglés es "View using CPU"/"View using GPU", por lo que la traducción debería ser «Ver usando CPU»/«Ver usando GPU».

Option to disable Rotate View
I think the new rotate view update is great if you want to work from multiple angles. But I’ve found it extremely difficult to work while using my trackpad because when ever I zoom in on my projects rotate view is automatically triggered and I have to keep going back to reset my view. As someone who works on multiple art boards at once this happens in a smaller span of time which tends to become annoying after a while.

Swatch icons background color & size feature so that the swatches could be distinguished also if are a white pattern on a transparent bg

The largest swatch icon size is too small to be able to distinguish different patterns, need larger icons option.4 votes -
フォント選択、フォントリストの「そのフォントの場所」からスタートしてほしい
フォントを選んでいるとき、常にリストの最初に戻るのをやめてほしいです。
「新ゴM」を選んでいたら「新ゴM」から始まってほしいです（以前のverのように）。
いろんなフォントを選んでいるときに毎回戻ってしまって、とても非効率です。
ぜひ改善してください。

Control panel like that of Indesign
I've always liked Indesign, especially its control panel top bar.
I was wondering but is it not possible to have a control bar in Illustrator like the one in Indesign?
- bigger
- With More controls
- Dynamics
- By inserting quick links to many features that Illustrator makes available to us but every time you have to go and get them from the menus / submenus and you never remember where to go.

How do we add copy and paste to the right click menu?
How do we add copy and paste to the right click menu?
In almost all Adobe products copy and paste are in the right click menu but I can't find a way to turn them on in Illustrator. How do I get them to show up or even request an update to the program if they aren't in the program for some strange reason. Why would they be left out? Can we also use scripting to add other useful commands to the menu to save time while we work?
7 votesIn case you missed it, latest Ai versions now do have Cut, Copy, Paste (all subcommands) in the context menus.

save error - better message
I occasionally see an error message that some document could not be saved, and a link to read about "alternate ways of saving"
Wouldn't it be great to show the actual OS error (in readable text, if possible, or a link to Microsoft or Macos error codes if not) in the message

Collapse panels menu item/keyboard shortcut
The ability to set a keyboard shortcut to collapse all panels would be really helpful and slick. I find myself leaving them open for expedience only to find the open panel is in the way, visually, later on. For those who set up their workspace differently they can just ignore it or disable the keyboard shortcut.

Convert fractions to decimals within the program, not just the new file dialogue box: 116-7/8" to 116.875 in.
We work with various large format sizes given with fractions, but the programs run off decimals. The New file dialogue box will convert them, so why can't this be added to the number fields for artboard and object sizes? Similar to how we can use the "/" to divide by a number when working at 1/4 scale or 1/2 scale.

Nix the Stupid Blue Share Button
Get rid of the stupid giant blue "Share" button in the toolbar. It's very distracting because it looks like I constantly have a notification. And I will never use it. We've been all through this with Acrobat already!
28 votesAs per the comment, go to 'Preferences > User Interface > Share Button' and select 'Match Brightness' — it will no longer appear blue.
To achieve the same in Photoshop, try toggling 'Neutral Color Mode' in 'Preferences > Interface'.

Search / Filter option in Find/Replace Font dialog
Here is my problem. On InDesign when you do "Find/Replace font" you can select the missing font and then you can SEARCH and then replace the font. In Illustrator, the same method exists. BUT you cannot SEARCH... Why? Did I miss something?? Do I really have to scroll through the 4000 fonts to get to the one I want?
Could we have the same panel on Illustrator as in InDesign?6 votes -
Rotating objects difficult with 5K monitor
On smallish objects, I have to zoom in way too far before the rotate handles show up on an object. It was annoying on the 4k monitor. On the 5k monitor it is more than annoying – it's a disruption. (200% zoom on and 1920px artboard) for a 10px object.

Please show document name in full screen mode too
When in Full Screen mode (MacOS), the top bar shows 'Adobe Illustrator 2022', but not the name of the document (which is much more relevant ;-)

Colour Book/Pantone Swatches to remain in Custom Workspaces
Hi - is there a way to have custom colour books/Pantone swatches to save in a custom Workspace? I have to keep adding them again each time I restart Illustrator, and it's a bit of a pain! Thanks!

線幅を拡大縮小にショートカットが欲しい。又は、キーボードショートカットで作成できるようにして欲しい。
デザインの作業で、同じドキュメント内でも線幅を拡大縮小するかはオブジェクトによって違い、かなり頻繁に、そしてスピーディな作業の中で必要になります。
そのため環境設定か、拡大縮小ツールをダブルクリックし、チェックボックスにチェックを入れたり外したり、という作業が非常に煩わしいです。3 votes
