I have used Illustrator since version 1.11 and the shift key has always been used to constrain angles and proportion in drawing and transforming. suddenly without notice in the latest upgrade the shift key has to be used to FREE transform and the default in the transform function is to maintain proportion or constrain movement to 45 or 90 degrees. This is against the habits of 30 years use. I have also noticed that in the Option>scale function the highlight which used to default to the angle value no longer does so requiring addition keystroking. Not helpful.

Please make Adobe Illustrator app available in Thai. I think it will be better for Thai users to be able to use Adobe Illustrator app in Thai language.

Update charts as source data changes or is amended. In the case of Excel the link would replicate how InDesign does it, but additionally allow the import of a range that is too big - empty cells are ignored. This would allow for appended data, in the case of a time series.

Please, update and renew the diagram toll in illustrator. The tool isn't state of the art and needs renewing (preview function, better handling with numbers, more options, less bugs). I make infographics for many years and also teach infographic design, but the possibilities in Illustrator are unfortunately insufficient.
Many users are waiting and waiting for an update. It would be a great help to designers if the diagram tool could be renewed. Illustrator is a great application, but the diagram functions are not good.

Hi, their is one new feature which is called Distributor Horizontally and Vertically, i think we need this in illustrator also.

シンボル編集モードを一旦終了し、再度編集モードに入ると、変更状態が保存されていない。
シンボル編集時にパスの選択時のカラーが見にくい場合、編集モードに入るたびにカラーを編集しなければいけない。

Shortcut for "collapse option" on the floating windows.
Normally you have to close/collapse by hand, and when you are working and you need to clear your working are you have to collapse by hand each window.

Would be great having a quick access to collapse/open the actions/tools windows.

Maybe using keyboard arrows?

One should be able to copy the link name somehow. Or else, the existing filename of an embedded image should be used when unembedding files. WTH is "ai image"??????????????

why in illustrator cc 2019 zoom tool always stops at 33882.35% level when i draw a rectangle with it and not continuing to 64000% zoom level

It would be helpful to have a cancel button for when you quit the program. I constantly hit Command Q instead of Command W and I have no option to save my work before it quits. All I can do is clear the clipboard.

Let an Application take control of its files at button press. After latest update Acrobat took over for AI files and it'd be nice to just press a button and fix it in Windows 10.

Currently manually trying to and Acrobat is fighting it.
