Make Adobe Stock Images and Vectors avialable to earlier versions of the app.
Remember there are a lot of people that use Creative Cloud but are limited by the equipment they are using. The latest version of Illustrator I can use on my computer is 2019 and when I try to save or open a vector from Adobe stock I am informed that I need the latest version to continue. This is not possible. If you wish to offer free images/vectors make sure they are free and accessible to other versions other than the latest. Please do not increase user frustration by misleading what is available.

Select multiple identical objects and make each its own group.
I'd love to see a feature in which you could select a bunch of similar objects, each of which had multiple parts, and it would automatically make each individual object into its own group. For example, I just drew an oval with a line down the middle - which is a leaf. I copied and pasted it 100 times but didn't make it into it's own group first (oops). If I could just select them all and make each it's own group, it would save me going back and grouping them first and doing it all again. They're a pain…

pinch rotate/zoom canvas
It would be nice if you with pinch to zoom you could rotate canvas. It would make the app feel more fluid with its controls.

offset path feature won't become a sharp
Why if I have a curve that has several very small (sharp) angles, when I enter it in the offset path feature (+ offset), then the offset result can't be sharp anyway. but if (-) is offset, then can it turn sharp?
1 voteTo fix that, you have to increase the Miter limit value in this dialog. Read more about Miter limits here:

The article is about strokes, but the same principle applies to offsets.

Tie a child shape to parent shape to keep it aligned to parent when resized

I design boxes in Illustrator for precise cutting in my Silhouette machine. The main problem I encounter with is when I make a box which its shapes are all perfectly aligned, but I then find that I need to tweak its interior size. When I'm doing so I have to re-align all the different pieces of the box shapes such as the spines, wings, etc, since there's no option to tie…

The Named Views feature should be expanded for more names, listed alphabetically, and be more easily editable..
The Named Views feature is under developed. It is useful for complex drawings with several Artboards and many layers. Its functionality can include several categories of the Illustrator program. Attached is a file with several points of improvement.

ability to escape when Illustrator "hangs"
Please give one the ability to get out of a "hang" without force quitting the app. Escape key would be a great place!

I loathe this 2021 update
There are so many issues with this update. I'm not even sure where to start. Functions that were always present are now gone. This is seriously messing with my speed and efficiency. What a mess!
Where did the free transform function go? When I'm using the selection/direct selection tools, the anchor points for resizing are gone. PUT THEM BACK!
Key commands aren't working properly. Example: Command C > command F should paste in place, but NOT duplicate. I've spend stupid amounts of time trying to figure out why the **** I have extra boxes.

Mobile Banking to Pay for Illustrator & Reduced fees based on country specific financial status.
Countries like Bangladesh faces a situation where using cracks is the standard practice. And as a Bangladeshi I would like to put two requests:
Reduce prices depending on geocultural financial status. In Bangladesh, 4$ - 5$ would be a standard price.
Keep options of using local mobile banking services to pay for adobe subscriptions. In Bangladesh the most popular is "Bkash".
If you consider my suggestions, your revenue would increase for sure. And people like me would not be forced to use *****.

Send proof to customer
We proof every item to customers before printing. It would be great if there was a tool to send a proof that could be approved through all common design programs. Giving the customer the ability to submit for changes and do a final approval before the job goes to print.

Stop changing the name of Illustrator application.
Most applications retain the same "Application" name between versions. This makes transitioning between versions easy when working with a script-driven automation workflow. Illustrator is unique because the application name changes with every "update". This greatly complicates our ability to easily update Illustrator in our workflow. Please consider maintaining the same application name like most applications do.

Add URLs to objects in PDFs
Have the same functionality as InDesigner, where you can sign URLs to objects, making them interactive in PDF format. The current workaround of opening and adding the link in Acrobat isn't good enough - if you need to edit the illustrator file you then have to re-add all of the links!
