Include all Live Corners dialog options in Properties panel
The Live Corners dialog button on the Control bar is the only way to precisely adjust the radius, rounding, and corner type of multiple corners in a non-rectangular object. I see no reason why these settings shouldn’t be included in the Properties panel.
This functionality can’t even be accessed via the menu bar or a keyboard shortcut.
Keeping the top control bar open (which is no longer even activated by default in the Essentials workspace) for just that one button is a waste of space, since just about everything else displayed in the Control bar is now displayed in the…

Change the opacity of a layer or directly in the tool
Hello, it would be nice if you could change the opacity of a layer without a mask. I like to draw the shadows with the Blob Tool and have to reduce the opacity of each path after each step. It would be easier if each path automatically had a previously set opacity. Alternatively, you could make this setting in the options of the tool itself. Thank you

Image Brush further development
Some years back, Adobe introduced Image brushes to Illustrator. The implementation was uncharacteristically shallow for Adobe who usually adds plenty of functionality and flexibility to any tool, which is great. Well, the images brushes were introduced, and I suppose abandoned and never looked at again. I think Adobe needs to revisit image brushes and add a lot more functionality. The best image brush implementation I've found so far in any software was in Serif's discontinued software called DrawPlus. That's what Adobe needs to shoot for, at least. Think about this. Provide Stroke Cap Corner & Alignment control in Character Styles
I'm working in Illustrator CC 22.1 and I can't control the Caps, Corners or Alignment options of Strokes in the Character Styles Palette and I really need to. Is there a way to do this that I haven't figured out or has this issue been addressed in the most recent version? Thanks, Emily

Feature to remove white background seamlessly
I think this should be a basic option, to remove white bg seamlessly. or any colored background. There are lot of basic apps that does that, why a sophisticated software like this doesnt have that option?

Save PDF and rasterize one layer
It will be great if we can choose some layers to be auto rasterized when exporting to pdf. I keep very complex paterns in a different layer and always need to manually rasterize it to get a light pdf and error free on Rip software.

I am having a trouble when selecting an object from multiple objects. I think, there should have some thumbnail and object preview option when we right the objects and try to select any object. I attached the image see the red arrow mentioned text.

More exporting options, without disgusting failures, even mini files in size cannot be saved at more than 300 PPI , irrespective sys config.
Please try to limit error messages first, as it is very disgusting, then with high end systems in hand, illustrator commonly fails at exporting, even the tiny sized files not being exported with high resolutions i.e., more than 300 PPI specified as "other"

Missing languages from character panel for automation
I need to automate the language parameter from the Character panel on Illustrator. It is already available for most languages but it looks like the recent languages that have been added in Illustrator are not available for automation. We need to set this up to have the correct hyphenation in the text frames. For example, if we activate the hyphenation for illustrator files that contains Thai strings, it won’t hyphenate the strings correctly until we set the language.

Allow Eyedropper tool to copy/apply different things
Guys, the Eyedropper is an incredibly important tool, whether or not it's "****" by virtue of its age. You haven't updated it in, what, decades? Among the things that it is incapable of copying are:
- multiple strokes
- stroke profiles
- transparency
- blend modes
- graphic styles
Those are extremely common usages/needs. And that's off the top of my head, I'm sure there are many more. Obviously there's no reason this tool shouldn't be able to copy these things! Almost every aesthetic effect that gets added to AI should be reflected in that tool's pickup abilities. Please make this happen already.
1 voteThe Eyedropper tool can work in two modes: basic and extended: basic picks/applies only colors and text. extended allows you operate chosen appearance attributes.
If you open the tool’s options (by doube-clicking the tool button or hitting Enter while it’s picked), you’ll see that you can check/uncheck two top ‘Appearance’ options and customize attributes to be processed.
This is not intuitive, but very powerful once you get the concept.

Pulling content (text, etc) from a database into a layered template
Ideally, it would be advantageous to manage a database of content (like SQL) that could then be linked to content in Illustrator files. In that way, changes to the database such as address could then automatically change in the associated Illustrator files. I don't know if this is something already developed and if so, I'd love to hear more about it. I've heard about the Datamerge function, but I don't quite know all of its capabilities. I'd appreciate any comments on whether that is a viable solution. Thank you.

Wait for the #Color Code to finish
I sometimes look up # Color Codes and want to type them in Illustrator. Every time I start typing and click again in another window, Illustrator just fills in the #Code with some '0' and I need to retype the code again. Why dont just let Illsutrator wait for the User to type the code completely? If the user has not typed in 6 letters, the "ok" button would be inactive until the user has finished the code.
This is very annoying because filling in the 'missing' letters may be good for the software, but is not really user friendly.1 vote -

Auto extension saving
Since 90% of the time, you need to rename or edit a title. It would be a time saver if you could name as well select the correct format directly from the "save as" selection name field. ex: You type image1.png, Then the "format" would automatically change itself to the correct "PNG" format (so you don't need to do that as well). Of course, this would be on all.
