2. For Illustrator software to work better with domain environment

   We are currently getting a Preferences folder read-only error when Illustrator is opened by any domain user on any of our domain linked computers. Adobe technical support says that Illustrator currently is not tested for and is not approved to work in domain environments. This is preventing many users in our department from using this software.

   I am requesting for Adobe Illustrator CC to be better compatible with domain environments.

3. .ait Files not showing.

   I dont know if this is the bug reporting area or not. However when i Create a ait file it will not allow me to open the original and it does not show up in the CC Library's when i upload it to CC.

4. .ait Files not showing.

   It would be great if indesign and Illustrator would use the same scripts. I have several in indesign that I desperately need in illustrator. ALSO it would be very great if we could assign Shortcuts to script. As well as adding a scripts Panel like in Indesign.

5. Designers are being asked to design for new end user media

   Creating ways to take my vector to 3D, for 3D printing, CNC plasma cutting, and new ways that are being asked for designers and artist to file share and work better together. Exporting my work for auto cad, and 3D software, plotters etc and simplify the paths. There is 2D and there is 3D cad. But as an artist I want to be able to take what I have done in Illustrator and evolve my work and output options to and material to the next level. CorelDraw was just a play toy program. But it looks like they have got a handle on the how designers are being asked to design and create for customers other then just a computer vector art file for an ink printer. Now we are being asked to print material like metal, plastic, and the list goes on!

6. Assets panel multiple selection with just mouse

   I want to use mouse and "Ctrl" to select assets I want to export in Asset Export panel. But I can't do that. Mouse works only as per 1 selection. Yes, I can hold "Ctrl" and click on different assets or use Shift to select some, but that not useful for me. Sometimes I want to select big groups of assets located at the beginning and end of the assets list, so I just want to hold "Ctrl" and play with mouse easily and fast by selecting any items.
   ****, it's like you just holding "Ctrl" and selecting folder with mouse in Finder. So easy and cool. Please add this option!

7. Show slices names

   I'm looking for a simple but very useful option for slices:
   "Show slice name"

   Currently in setting of Illustrator there are only option:
   "Show slice numbers", - file attached.
   But it's doesn't give me anything actually.
   I've created names for each slice and I need to check these names visually, without need to select each slice and goto it slice settings..

8. Jump to selected object in Level Inspector

9. Importoptionen dauerhaft sichtbar

   Seit einiger Zeit können in Illustrator die Importoptionen nicht mehr dauerhaft eingeschaltet (sichtbar sein)!
   Es ist sehr nervig und kostet viele Klicks, wenn man immer erst auf den Optionen-Button klicken muss, um die derzeitigen Einstellungen zu sehen.

10. Remove Movie Clip/Graphic dropdown in Symbol options dialog

    Update Symbol Options dialog to remove the Movie Clip/Graphic dropdown which is noted as being for Flash tagging. Flash is dead tech.

12. Allow creative cloud files to be opened 2 times at once like you can with computer files

    I commonly open 2 different copies of the same file so I can see how changes I make while zoomed in will effect the artwork zoomed out without having to zoom in and out over and over again, but for some reason you can't do this with cloud files, and that is why I never end up using them. If they just added the ability to open the cloud files like you can with files on your actual computer I would be much more likely to actually use cloud files more consistently

15. Font Style Sheets

    The integration of all products in the Adobe suite has helped my workflow tremendously with one exception. If I am working on a project requiring multiple outputs from Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Animate, and Premiere, I have to create design templates for each (when possible) to get each program to use the fonts required for the project.
    It would be nice if there were a tool allowing me to create a master style sheet for all outputs that would let me select the fonts used in ALL of my output files. Not only would this make my workflow more efficient, it could also allow me to change fonts globally which could provide the opportunity to show multiple design proposals.

16. Open New File with Limited Color Palette

    Include an option in the New File dialogue box to open a file with only black and white color swatches. Currently, new files open with a large palette of useless color swatches, and it's a time waster to have to delete all those colors each time to have a clean and functional palette.

    You can set your own document profiles that have only what you need.
    Trash all swatches, styles, brushes and resave this new document as a default profile (in a separate folder first), add your own, and then copy the file over existing one (or add a new). Access the folder by clicking Browse option in Profile dropdown in the extended New Document dialog window.
    Just remember to backup these files, because Ai overwrites defaults each update!

17. Feedback on new Recolor artwork (in Beta now)

    New redesigned Recolor artwork is available in Beta now.

    We heard from many of you that the current Recolor is confusing and difficult to use. This new Recolor has a completely redesigned experience with an added ability to recolor your art based on your referenced images & artwork. We have broken the Recolor into two sections. When you invoke Recolor, you would see an on canvas dialogue that allows you to quickly Recolor your artwork with all the basic controls. For advanced settings, you can click on more options (...).

    We would love to hear your candid feedback. Please provide your feedback on this thread. This will be actively monitored by the Illustrator team. If you don't have access to Beta please drop a note to me at: kotwal at Adobe dot com.

    Known Issues:
    1. The number of colors in the Recolor Palette doesn’t get updated on Mac.
    2. Document get scrolled when dragging the color palette’s distribution slider to the left
    3. A flicker of the color text box when dragging the Palette on Windows
    4. Colour Wheel’s UI doesn’t get updated on changing Illustrator’s UI theme
    5. Grabber on HUD is not clearly visible in dark theme
    6. Performance lag while applying to recolour to Complex Artworks
    7. Swatches group cannot be added from Library to swatch panel while HUD is active
    Color distribution Palette at the bottom flickers when changes are made via slider — intermittent
    8. Recolor Palette getting dismissed on changing color numbers to 1 -> All , Theme from None -> something else -> None
    9. The linked file that was not loaded when used as source Artwork causes a crash
    10. Assert on clicking on recolor button when the dialog is still active (or click twice)
    11. Annotation remains on screen after the dismissal of dialog — rare (happens when hover theme picker cursor over a vector art and suddenly move to palette before the annotations disappear)
    12. Asserts on applying to recolor to brush Art

19. Smooth(er) tool

    I’d love it while using the blob brush tool if the smoothing worked nicely for crossing paths.

    Actually, cleaning is a tedious process I would avoid.
