Easier Color Sampling (for Gradients, Recolor Artwork, etc.)
I find that the options for choosing colors in a gradient or recoloring artwork are particularly clunky. I love the way photoshop makes it easy to choose colors -- when you click on the gradient point you'd like to change for example, the eyedropper tool is automatically selected and enables you to pick a color from the swatches panel or a color already in use on the artboard. It is also easy to type in a hex code, or quickly adjust brightness, saturation, etc at-a-glance. To me, the photoshop color options are very powerful and streamline and the illustrator options are a bit exhausting because you need to flip through different panels and options to insert a hex code, select a swatch, or eyedrop a color (and you can't eyedrop a swatch). Then you have to go through the process again for the next gradient point. My workflow would be so greatly improved if it were easier to choose colors in Illustrator and i feel my work would improve because my i could easily explore different color options and spend more energy on creativity instead of navigating panels. Thank you so much!
