Zoom Tool - Modifier key doesn't work
v. 25 2020, Mac OS X version.
Modifier key not working for Zoom tool (magnifying glass). Steps to reproduce:
- Select Zoom tool.
- Move over dartboard, hold down Option key.
- Zoom tool changes to Pan tool.
Currently, there is no way to zoom out with the Zoom (magnifying glass) tool.

Random line weight changing with rectangle shapes
Since I updated to the latest version of AI (24.3) my operating system will support (Mac Pro [late 2013], Version 10.13.6), I keep running into this issue. After I create a rectangle using the rectangle tool, which I always keep at 1 px weight, sometimes the line weight randomly lowers to a percent like 0.63 px. This has happened when I duplicated the rectangle, or changed it's pixel dimensions in the Transform menu.

Where is the Polygon tool in Illustrator V24.3???
Hi Illustrator Team,
Where did you guys hide the Polygon toold? It is not in the extensive option under Rectangle tools.

Trying to apply an opacity mask on an object with a gradient makes it dissapear
I have an object with a points gradient and I'm trying to clip that with some text(which has been converted to a shape). Although it seems to work initially, after switching back form mask to the object layer, the object dissapears completely.

Impossible to create a very simple compound object of a shape and a word of multiple characters
It's been an ongoing issue for me for years. Until recently I used to be able to work around it by breaking the word into individual characters and substrating them from the shape one by one but now even this annoying method stopped working. I have literally no idea how to do this very simple thing any more!

Blob Brush sticks and then releases when starting a stroke. very annoying
I have tried everything that I know. n Unchecking GPU Performance is not working. I do a lot of work in blob brush and the attached video shows how annoying this is. I have a Wacom Cintiq 22HD.

BUG - perspective grid - ground plane widgets disappear
The Left and Right ground level widgets DISAPPEAR when the vanishing points are adjusted moderately far apart. There seems to be no way to make them visible again, which makes it hard to move the entire perspective grid to another location.

BUG - perspective grid planes disappear permanently
If the grid cell size is adjusted -- while some planes are turned off (with temporary SHIFT-hide function) -- the hidden planes cannot be made to reappear.
Select Left plane. Hover grid tool over an intersection in Left plane.
Press SHIFT. The right and ground planes disappear.
Adjust cell size with diamond widget.
Now try to make right plane or ground plane visible again -- gone forever.
This bug seriously interferes with using the Perspective Grid tools.

Stroke not aligned with Fill
Stroke is not aligned with Fill

I cann't turn off "Snap to point" while using Pen tool.
I turned off all snap functions, but when using the Pen tool, snap to points still happens. How i can turned off this function?

Resizing objects makes them taller instead of equal width and height
Quick update:
Adobe's senior support and dev have confirmed the issue does exists in the files we have sent them which uses this particular illustration. They believe this issue is due to the file being created in the older 32 bit version of Illustrator before the transition to the 32 and 64 bit versions of Illustrator and no longer scales properly as today's version is only 64 bit.
They have logged this as a feature request and but will not be categorized as a bug at this time.

Simplify error
When there is typy to a path object, Path —> Simplify —> Convert to Straight Lines or ”Show Original Path” crashes all time when I use that command.

Can't Select Center Point of Symbol to Drag
After the latest update, I'm unable to drag symbols from their center point.

offset path doesn't work with simple shapes like a circle
OS: Windows 10
Illustrator CC 2020 Build 24.3 (64 Bit)
I can't offset any type of shape and do the "Ctrl + D" trick anymore
Steps:
1. Create a Circle

Bug with end of line - Convert selected anchor point to smooth
When you have a line in illustrator where you:
Select using the direct selection tool (A)
Convert the point to smooth using (B)
And get the fabulus result (C).
BUT you also end up with point D where the alignment of the line is always vertical.1 vote -
Josef Pro font disappears as you type
Hello
I am trying to type the word "Communications" in Adobe Illustrator. If I use any other font, it types fine and looks fine. When I use Josef Pro, the "ti" goes missing and only shows "Coomuncaons". When I change from Josef Pro to any other font, I can see the "TI". I tried this is other applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel and this problem does not happen. It's definitely an issue with Illustrator.
Unfortunately, I cannot use another font because our company logo uses this Josef font.

Expanding simple paths autogenerates dozens of unnecessary bezier points
Drawing 2 overlapping shapes or paths (or shapes expanded from paths) could once be reliably split/trimmed/etc cleanly using Pathfinder tools.
Currently, doing so autogenerates dozens of unnecessary bezier points. This can be cleaned up using the smooth tool, but becomes a tedious process, especially given that the same cleaned shape will behave the same way if Pathfinder is used again.
This is a critical part of my workflow that's become substantially disrupted by whatever change was made under the hood in the past 6 mos - year.

errors loading plugins on 2020 illustrator
Since i updated my Illustrator to the latest 2020 version, i get a list of about 15 or more plugins not loaded successfully...
i can open my project but then my work space is gone and all my drawing tools to the left are gone and i cannot do stroke, fill or shapes....my older version was working perfect... now my computer crashes every 15 min and i get errors of plugins not loaded when i start again....so frustrating i am about to cancel my membership.
i tried installing the older version i had and i still get the errors.
