Big Sur and native Effects gallery crash
Anybody else getting Illustrator CC2019 and 2020 to crash in Big Sur (beta) when accessing the Filter Gallery (eg. Effect > Texture > Grain)?
You don't even have to apply the effect. Simply opening that window will doom you to a crash.
Tested with latest public releases of CC2019 + 2020 and macOS 11 Beta (20A5384c) on 2015 iMac.

This issue is resolved in Big Sur (macOS 11) public release.

The 3D effects (eg. Extrude and Bevel) don't work at all, I can see only flat outline in preview and after saving.

Illustrator 24.3 on Windows(10): Warp effect not showing preview even though preview selected
Even though I have checked the box to show previews for the Warp effect, changing styles does not show a preview of the styles. The only preview that is shown is the very first style that was chosen.

3d extrude doesn't cap a cube
Mac mini M1, BigSur 11.1, Illustrator 25.0.1
draw a square, select Effects-3d-Extrude-
45Deg, 45 Deg, 90 Deg.
select Cap.

3D - Extrude - Isometric Top is skewed so edge does not run parallel with Isometric - Right
I made a square out of vertical rectangles of alternating colour and wanted to make it into each face of a cube.
However, 3D - Extrude - Isometric Top (with no bevel or shading) effect is slightly skewed.
Therefore, I cannot connect each anchor point to make a cube. See screenshot to see how the top's edge veers away from the right side.
OS: Mojave 10.14.6

NEGATIVE OFFSET PATH HAS FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON STOPPED WORKING
I dont have an idea but i have the problem:
It will work for a shape, such as circle by making a smaller circle, however if i type a word -> type - create outlines -> go to path - offset path and select a negative value it just duplicates the same shape with same thickness and i cannot find a way around it2 votes -
Drop shadow results are unusual when converted to grayscale
Version: 23.1 and 24.2.3
phenomenon:
1. Create an object
2. use drop shadow from appearance menu
3. From the Edit menu, select Edit Color and then Convert to Grayscale.After conversion, the drawing of the drop shadow is not normal.
There will be a problem even if you save it as a PDF.Version 22.1 does not have this problem.

Plz add a inner shadow effect
I was doing an assignment in Illustrator which required that I use the Inner Shadow, but Illustrator doesn't have it. Why? It would even work too.

warp Effect not working
I used to be able to take a straight line and make it wavy with the Effect > Warp > Wave effect - I see that there was a previous 'resolved' ticket on this - it is NOT resolved. I have been using Illustrator for over 25 years and have never seen this app in such a bad state. I am spending more time here today flagging bugs than working on my projects today. I hope you understand how frustrating ALL these bugs are when you are trying to get a project out the door and a client is screaming…

Amigos, bom dia.
Após algumas atualizações, tenho notado que o uso do recurso "Opacity mask" em meu Illustrator não consegue apresentar o resultado visual (redesenho) em tempo real. Se eu não forçar a visualização com "View / Outline (Command + Y)" o efeito não pode ser visto.

Improper transperancy handling
when creating an object with a simple transparency, it renders different siting above a white background vs a white object. I've had someone else recreate to verify it's not just my install. See attached screen shot.

Reflect Across Vertical Axis does not account for Variable Stroke
I was making a vector in Adobe Illustrator using Variable Stroke. I wanted to make a mirrored copy of my original left-facing drawing to have a right-facing character. But when I mirrored it, the Variable Stroke did not match the original.
Attached is what I was working on, also labeling the three areas where the issue is most obvious. Note how the stroke thickness is not identical.1 vote -
Opacity mask not behaving as expected for object that crosses over itself.
When I make a gradient opacity mask for a line object as shown, the opacity mask behaves as expected when the object overlaps another object (cyan rectangle; i.e. you can see the bottom object through the top object), but does not when it overlaps itself (magenta rectangle; i.e. the part of the object on the bottom is clipped by the shape of the object, rather than visible through the opacity mask like the separate object).

The preview function in the drop shadow panel doesn’t work.

Appearance glitch,
Using appearance, modified text (fill with outline in this case) get buggy when modified on top of a locked image.
I have been able to re-create this issue on my end at least.

Kalligraphiepinsel
Hallo, ich habe einen ovalen Kalligraphiepinsel angelegt und einem Pfad zugewiesen und die Pfad-Form erhält einen kalligraphischen Kontrast. Soweit so gut. Klicke ich allerdings erneut auf die kalligrafische Linie, um sie erneut dem Pfad zuzuweisen (zum Beispiel, weil ich diesen verändert/verlängert habe), so ändert sich mit jedem Klick der Winkel im des Ovals. Ein Bug oder eine Voreinstellung, die ich noch nicht kenne? Vielen Dank für jede Hilfe.

Load texture not working in 2020
Mac OS 10.15.1, Illustrator 2020. For years I've used a custom texture (psd file) that I load into texturizer. But since updating to 2020 Illustrator this custom file doesn't work. I upload the texture file, it looks good in the texturizer panel, but when I click OK nothing happens. When I reopen the selection in the texturizer panel it has "canvas" texture. I'm using the same psd file I've always used. Even when I rename it and save it in Photoshop 2020 I have the same problem.
18 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

unknown error when trying to finish my design.
try to ADJUST MY DESIGN AND ALL I GET IS UNKNOWN ERROR POPUPS. it also reverted some of the work i did. this is absolutely ridiculous! i cant adjust a thing!!!!!!
