Can't open files from Windows File Explorer
Files will no longer open from Windows File Explorer. Double clicking on file names does not work, dragging them into Illustrator does not work. Only the menu FILE > OPEN works. Please fix this.

Doesn't open
I cant open the app in my cellphone. I tap it and it seems like it is opening BUT after one second it closes again. I don't know what to do anymore. I closed the app and opened it again and happened the same, i also restarted my phone (like tree times) and there were no changes at all!!

Buggy strokes, unwanted anti-aliasing and wrong sizes on export.
I have just completed a project where 1800 tool icons had to be redesigned for a CAD program. Exporting my icons to single and @2x PNGs butchers my icons.
If strokes are set to outside, export to PNG invariably produces unwanted anti-aliasing on vertically or horizontally stacked pixels. (see image 1.png). I have a hunch this only occurs with documents that have over 100 artboards. It cannot be easily reproduced with a document containing only a single artboard. (if someone from tech support wants the document, let me know. I cannot share it publicly.)

Heavy upload to adobe.io (amazon) without files opened
During one week I left Illustrator opened.
During this week, Illustrator upload 21 Gb of data!How that's possible?

Embedding link/image and it duplicates itself in top left corner
Occasionally, when i embed an image in the link menu, it will duplicate that image in the top right hand corner of my document. The one I embedded into the document is embedded, but the "new" duplicate is still linked. I just noticed this happening as of recently.

Paste in Front/Back should override Paste remembers layers option
The layer from which an object is copied is used for the pasted object even when using the Paste in Front/Back command. This is counterintuitive and the command should override the option.

Can't reset bounding box on certain shapes
"Reset bounding box" is greyed out on objects that has been created with these tools: Line tool, Rectangle tool, Ellipse tool, Polygon tool, Rounded rectangle tool
It seems to work with all other objects.
I'm using 23.0.6.

Illustrator randomly deform random nodes and elongates them!
illustrator ver 23.1.1
os ver macos 10.13.6
16gb 2.8ghz hd5750gpu board.While working with illustrator (2018-2019 both are doing the same thing. While moving or duplicating curved objects around the page, or while saving the document, it's randomly picks a one of curve nodes and elongates them to random length. Done experimenting with other mac stations and same file, we cannot reproduce this behaviour. Uninstalled - reinstalled illustrator and updated os system didnt help either.

yellowish tint background within jpg file
I updated the illustrator 23.1 and yellowish tint is still there among my jpg file. how can I get rid of it?

randomly shutting off and not saving
so im in a digital arts class at my school so i dont know much about the computers, i am was working on a project and i was just about finished with my outline after 1 hour 32 minutes of work and the Illustrator just shuts off randomly and i go to open the app back up again and it didn't save. This better get fixed, and if it doesn't me and my teacher aggreed we will go to something else if we have to.

Paste in Place gets object pasted into its original layer and not a selected one
Copy an object (Cmd + C), then create a new layer, select it and Paste it in Place in the new layer — the object gets placed in tis original layer instead.
8 votesThe 'Paste Remembers Layers' option in the Layers panel’s flyout menu regulates this behavior. When it is checked — Illustrator will honor the original layer of a copied artwork and paste it in the same layer, ignoring the selection of a layer.
However, if disabling this option does not help — please comment.

Fix the Dice Symbol please
You have included a symbol in the 3-d Symbols library of two dice. These dice are incorrect in that any opposite sides of a die need to add to seven. In you symbol you can clearly see a 3 and a 4 on the top die (On a real die these would HAVE to be on opposite sides of the cube) and on the lower die you can see a 6 and a 1, again these would have to be on the opposite sides.

Problem with center align and arrowheads (v 23.1)
I have a few simple lines with arrowheads. When I try to use center align to line these elements up, the arrowheads swap ends on some lines. The alignment works, but when I try to undo this, the arrowhead doesn't revert to original direction? This seems to be a bug.

Corner widgets are off automatically
Every time i open Illustrator I have to enable the Corner Widgets. It seems that the preferences file for these types of settings does not update.

Bug: Illustrator 22.1 Not Usable Since Mojave Update
Mojave update on latest Illustrator CC version 22.1
Basic usage of Illustrator
Use Illustrator normally
Random mouse clicks, movements etc making illustrator unusable. It's as if the interface and cursor just has a mind of its own sometimes. Even happening with Illustrator CS6 - Photoshop and InDesign CC have no issues at all.

Please upgrade to version 23 to resolve the issue. -
In Variables - "Update Data set " does NOT work: NOT reacting on changing DATA from the Source File. case Number ADB-6495411-N0N4
In Variables - "Update Data set " does NOT work: NOT reacting on changing DATA from the Source File. _ The same source file. The same location of the source file. Variable name the same. Data changed BUT "Update Data set " do not react, forcing users to reattached and re-link all variables... BIG ISSUE.
The same for CSV or for XML data types.

User Interface slide scale not on my Illustrator 2019
Having issues with 2019 version while using hotdoor CADtools. Viewed great with 2018, but in 2019, it's too tiny to read. Solution I am given is to go to Preferences>User Interface and up the scale. And I'm shown the screenshot (attached) for the adjustment scale. However, my AI has the screen (attached) w/o any scale. Why is this? Running Windows 10 Pro / 64-bit. Screens are in set in Portrait mode w 1080 x 1920 res. Again, the CADtools worked great in 2018 Illustrator but not in 2019.
