  1. Document Info units do not match Document Setup units

    Select a path and open the Document Info panel. See attached image for all the needed details.
    Happens on the latest version of Illustrator 2020 (24.0.1).
    This is a regression, it did not happen in Illustration 2019.

  2. My flyout menus in AI no longer work unless I am holding down the control key

    My flyout menus in AI no longer work by clicking them, unless I am holding down the control key. This started while I was working in Illustrator and has persisted, in spite of reloading AI and restarting CC and my computer.

  3. Keyboard Shortcuts dialogue is missing 'Send to current layer' menu item

    I'm unable to change the shortcut for 'Send to current layer' menu item because it's missing from the Keyboard Shortcuts dialogue.

  4. Ctrl+Tab does not work when Caps Lock is on

    When Caps Lock is on, the Ctrl+Tab shortcut for switching document windows does not work.

    When Caps Lock is off, the Ctrl+Tab shortcut works normally.

    I believe that this is not intentional behavior.
    All the computers in my studio are experiencing this problem, resetting preferences does not help.

    Windows 10 64bit (this problem was also present on Windows 8.1 64bit and older versions of Illustrator)
    Latest Illustrator version
    Intel i7 processor
    32 GB of RAM
    NVIDIA GTX graphics card

  5. BRING BACK FUNCTIONALITY OF ACTIONS

    As we all know all too well, the "engineering team" adds to and removes features from AI, apparently completely without considering its effective use or convenience.

    Their latest trick: many operations won't record automatically anymore in Actions going from v23 to v24. Please bring that back.

    Functions not recorded anymore so far:

    – Create text frame
    – Cmd/ctrl-0 Fit Artboard in Window
    – Save As (including location, file type eg PDF and its settings)
    – Close

    I you find more please add them to the list.

    I'm getting so tired of this ignorant behaviour!

  6. Scrollbars missing - Windows 10 - build 23.1 (64 bit)

    The scrollbars are missing when I open a file with multiple artboards. I see the zoom percent and artboard navigation inputs but they are floating almost 150px above where they should be. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing.
    This issue only goes away for the current session when I fiddle with the UI settings, but comes back when I next start Illustrator.

  7. Panels won't open

    I used to have this problem with InDesign, which I don't get anymore. Now it has migrated to Illustrator. When I start AI the panels don't work. I have to restart 2 or more times to get them to work. I have noticed some correlation between this and the Adobe Libraries (also in the panels) not connecting. It's a real PITA. Please fix.

  9. A few menu oddities on 24.0

    Attached are screenshots for a few menu oddities I've found on Illustrator 24.0. None are workflow breaking, they're just odd stuff like duplicate entries or weird characters.

  10. Opening screen

    Illustrator 24.1
    macOS, Catalina, 10.15.3

    When opening Illustrator I'm presented with the home/opening screen which shows (in my case) latest files used. But regardless of how big I make that screen it never shows coreectly all the thumbs (some of them are cut-off) and there are no scrollbars to either scroll down or to theright to see everything. Would be nice if that is designed in a responsive way.

  11. Export for screens: in sRGB, embedding colorsync profile, compression for PNG

    I see a difference in options between photoshop and illustrator. For Illustrator, it would make sense to export for screens and force a conversion to sRGB –even when your drawing is still in CMYK. I notice that Illustrator doesn't change colormode, while Photoshop does (when exporting, PS converts to the working RGB or sRGB if you make that choice).
    Besides that, I think it is very important to add compression to PNG files. And why not embed colorsyncprofiles in PNG files? It's a benefit when profiles are embedded because webbrowsers will show the image as similar.

  13. user interface does not hold settings of brightness

  14. double rulers

    I've isolated exactly when this occurs. If I use the preflight panel, then go into overprint preview mode, it happens when I exit overprint preview mode in the preflight panel. At that point, the top ruler becomes two rulers. It happens maybe 70% of the time. Furthermore, when this happens, the cursor becomes offset by the same size as the lower ruler. The cursor is off by something like 3/4 inch. It's easy to resolve it. Control/Y and Control/Y again and it resolves, but it keeps coming back. This only happens on my Mac which is from around 2014.   15. Image Trace panel greys out on existing traced object

    CC2019 v23.0.6

    After tracing an object, the Image Trace panel is greyed out. The only way to 'activate' the options is to switch views in the Control Bar a couple of times. It's arbitrary and annoying.

  18. 選択したオブジェクトのバウンディングボックスが表示されない

    オブジェクトを「選択ツール」で選択した際に、拡大縮小をするためのバウンディングボックスが表示されません。

    illustrator 24.0.1 で発生し、illustrator 23.1.1 では発生しません。

    利用している環境は、macOS Catalina 10.15.1 です。

  20. All tools and actions are slow and lagging, random selection in Ilustrator 2020
