Fill Glitches when Previewing with the GPU I work for a printing company, and we see this sort of glitch a lot. We also see it in the same design over multiple different systems so this must be an Illustrator issue rather than a compatibility problem with our graphics cards.
When rendering with the GPU, fill colors will extend out past the shape bounds. When we switch to render with the CPU, the glitch disappears. See the example attached.
This is a problem for us. We are losing production time because our printers on the floor see this and assume its an error with the artwork and…

multi-GPU setups cause Illustrator to glitch out and become unresponsive I've got a two-GPU computer. If I'm using GPU preview mode, after working for a while (around 20-30 mins or more), the entire Illustrator UI will glitch out and become very artifact-y and unresponsive, and I can no longer work on the files I've got open, necessitating a restart of the app.
This started happening right after I upgraded from one GPU to two, about a year ago. It happens only in GPU preview mode, not CPU. I've tried updating GPU drivers, updating Illustrator itself--nothing fixes the problem. I've seen other people online with multi-GPU setups say the same thing…

"QuickDraw" (artwork/preview) malfunctions Not clear this is actually GPU-related.
This bug dates back 32 years, all the way to Illustrator 1.0, when Adobe used the term "QuickDraw" to describe it. Terminology has changed, the bug has not. It has happened on every version of Illustrator, on every Mac, under every operating system.
I've sent the attached screenshots and videos in the past, no response.
The bug manifests as stray lines or incorrect vectors at certain seemingly-random resolutions. In preview mode, in addition to above problems, (possibly a different bug), I often get sectors or areas that do not fill or redraw correctly. Sometimes…

Inconsistency between GPU and CPU modes mac OS 10.15.1 (19B88)
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon R9 M395 2 GBI have an issue regarding inconsistent appearance between GPU and CPU modes when using composite fonts. Attached are the screen shot images of the identical material when captured in (1) GPU-mode, (2) CPU-mode, and (3) GPU-mode after outlined.
As the files show, the last 2 characters show up at different position. The outlined characters show up in the position identical with (2). So I guess (1) has some issue (not displaying the pre-outlined characters at the correct position).

GPU Issue in Touch Mode on Surface Pro (2017) Hello,
I have been having a repeated issue with Illustrator leaving checkerboard artifacts onscreen when drawing in Touch Mode on my Surface Pro. After drawing for a while, Illustrator will crash. I've included a clip displaying the artifacts I'm talking about.A related issue happens at random when drawing, where the outline will display in red while I'm drawing it, then the line won't actually get drawn. Sometimes when selecting or scaling objects they will similarly display the scale happening, but then nothing actually happens. Usually Illustrator crashes after that.

Illustrator laggy and slow on when using CPU. Colours not accurate on GPU Hello, I'm using a MacOs 10.14.6 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 and I have Illustrator 23.1.1.
I've been having the following issue (even before updating to this version).
Every time I use the CPU view Illustrator becomes really slow and laggy.
I mostly use GPU mode for this reason but the colours are not accurate in this view. Colours look more opaque.
I tried resetting my preferences, disabling GPU performance, disabling dictation on my mac, change my document raster effects settings to screen (which made a little bit better), but nothing quite work.I can't continue with the workaround of…

GPU Preview hangs with simple file System specs: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) • GPU Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB • OSX 10.14.6 • Illustrator 23.1.1
I have an Illustrator file (attached) which is originally imported from a dwg file but doesn't seem to contain that much artwork. Trying to open this file (or preview) with GPU either hangs Illustrator or takes minutes on end to render. The same thing happens if this file is placed in Indesign and GPU preview is on there, even recovering that document after force quitting hangs Indesign.
I can simply work around this problem by disabling GPU performance from…

Illustrator CC Crashes In Tablet Mode Illustrator regularly crashes every couple of hours when my Spectre x360 is in tablet mode, also when using the HP Pen. Is anyone else getting this?
Running Illustrator in power saving mode was suggested as a workaround, but it's still crashing.
System info attached.

GPU Stroke Rendering Issue OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Build 17G5019
2 x Xeon E5-2690 v4 CPUs (don't ask ;) )
64 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8191 MB
GPU Driver Version: 387.10.10.10.40.122
CUDA Driver Version: 418.105Hi, I noticed a small rendering issue with strokes in GPU mode. The boundaries seem to be somewhat inaccurate, to the point that in certain situations (regardless of whether or not they're joined and by any method), suck as a tee shape, a small bulge of one stroke can appear beyond the edge of another, even though they shouldn't.
See attached pictures, the problem area is…

GPU rendering problem. - My graphics appear pixelated at certain zoom levels. Comes and goes. Very annoying when working. This happened a few months or weeks ago.
I am using Macbook Pro - 2017
OS version: Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132)
Adobe Illustrator: 23.0.4
This issue disappears when I turn of GPU rendering but I am used to working with GPU rendering ON.I am hoping for a fix on this soon or maybe there is already. please let me know. Thanks :)

phantom lines overlapping paths Sometimes a portion of my shape will look cut off. There is no vector information generating is, it just renders it that way for some reason. Examples attached:
