Can no longer create new file from scratch
Illustrator v 25.0 desktop on PC won't let me create new files from scratch or with preset details. It's forcing me to download templates to work from.
Illustrator v 25.0 desktop on iMac works fine.

When creating new document in 24.2, two artboards are created
Creating new document. Two artboards appear, even though I only requested one. I also now have "video safe areas" showing in default and can't get them to not show upon setting up new document.

Graphics do not show when document is opened, only in preview
When I open a document with several artboards that was created in the 2019 edition of Illustrator I can see all images in the preview - but when I open the document there are only empty artboards. How can I avoid recreating all my artwork?
My Illustrator is updated to the latest edition and the technicians have deleted all previous versions. My computer has 16 GB RAM, x-64 and runs the Windows 10 pro.2 votes -
Items cannot be centered in artboard
I am selecting an artboard. Then selecting my item. When I try to center them using Horizontal/Vertical Align Center, my item completely ignores my artboard (and any other artboard for that matter) and positions itself randomly.
Version 25.0
This feature is essential for us since we need to center dozens of icons for export.

Page size error and wrong ppi
Hi,
I have i bog problem.
1- I want open the print a4 template (Oixel size normaol must be 2480 pixels x 3508 pixels print resolution ) but if i open the template i see always this size
595 pixels x 842 pixels (screen resolution).
I chance the ppi to 300 on Rasterize menu. But the page size remains the same.I hope you can help me.

PROBLEM WITH SHIFT BOXES ILLUSTRATOR 2021
DURING OBJECTS MOVING THE MOVEMENT BOX ON THE PERIMETER IS NOT VISIBLE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ALIGN THE OBJECTS BETWEEN THEM WITHOUT THE VISIBLE PERIMETER!

Previews Stop Functioning.
After Illustrator has been open and multiple files are open on tabs the previews on the artboards stop functioning. Opening new files don't function correctly either.

Permanent side scroll
When I start a new file or open an existing file, the artboard side scrolls automatically to it's outermost edge. I cannot work on any file.

Opening second file will NOT display it, but show first opened document!
Wow... while having opened one file, Illustrator 25.0.1 does not refresh the screen while opening a second document. Great Adobe!
Navigator switches the content, but the screen activates the second tab and shows the first file. clever...
Going to be fixed in early 2031?

Can't create 4th artboard
Everytime i try to add artboards, somewhat AI skip 4th artboards, and just straight to 5th artboard, so when i add artboards again, there would be 2 5th artboard, and only the second one exported (if it exported)

Illustrator artboard turns white and keeps flashing
Artwork disappears and everything flashes. Everytime I click cursor its happening. But its only happening on my 2018 Macbook pro. I updated to big sur and Illustrator 2021 in the past week.

MacOS 10.14.6 PDF
When saving using an existing PDF preset the crop marks offset values have been changed from .25 to .025. And the bleed values have changed from .5 to .05. See screen capture.

restoring files is NOT working
I was working on a project and my computer reset on me automatically. After it was done, I tried going back into Illustrator and my work was gone. I have tried restarting the app and my work has not came back! Please help me restore my work!

Artboards and arrowheads disappear
Mac OSX 10.13.6 Illustrator 24.0 Creative Cloud
Opened a file
strokes with arrowheads to be strokes and artboards that were present when the file was closed to still be there.
Strokes were dropped to shapes and grouped and the artboards were gone.I've seen this before and I can't figure out why it's happening. I have a file that I just worked in a few days ago and now when I open it, all the strokes I had with arrowheads are broken down into a shape for the line and a shape for each arrowhead and then the whole thing…

ARTBOARD RESIZE ISSUE
If you create a new document and make the artboard smaller than the old max of 227" and then try to resize it larger than 227" once it has opened, you cannot. It gives you an error message that says "Artboard cannot be created outside the canvas bounds". You are able to create a file larger than 227" x 227" from the very beginning however.

grey bar or box
When the pointer hits certain (very many) points, gray bars or boxes appear as in the attached screen capture, making the operation difficult. Please fix it.

Ho appena aggiornato la versione ad Illustrator 25.0, ho aperto un file pdf e risalvato in formato illustrator, peccato che quando voglio spostare un blocco di oggetti o anche uno solo mi dice che non posso perché è IMPOSSIBILE la modifica potrebbe rendere alcuni degli oggetti troppo grandi. Come la risolvo?

Stroke weight defaults to 10pts on oversized custom Artboard
If I create a new document one of the standard sizes, say Letter...then draw and object and apply a stroke...the stroke size defaults to 1pt as it should. However, if I define a new custom oversized artboard, say 500 inches square, then draw and object...when I apply the stroke, the size defaults to 10pts.

Lineal nach Zeichenflächenänderung von Hoch- zu Querformat nicht angepasst

Illustrator 25.0 (64bit).Ich habe ein neues Dokument erstellt in A3. Danach habe ich die Zeichenfläche von Hochformat auf Querformat gestellt, indem ich doppelt auf die Zeichenfläche im Zeichenflächenwerkzeug klicke und das Symbol für Querformat anklicke, danach okay. Die Zeichenfläche wurde gedreht.
Nun wollte ich Hilfslinien als Rahmen einfügen und habe dazu das Lineal eingeblendet. Ich erwartete, dass das Lineal anzeigt, dass links oben meiner Zeichenfläche sowohl x als auch y 0 ist. Das Lineal hat sich jedoch nicht mitgedreht und die 0 liegt außerhalb meiner Zeichenfläche, nämlich genau dort, wo es länge, wenn die Zeichenfläche im Hochformat…1 vote
