  1. Many Many issues with Illustrator 2018

    1. Ever since I've updated to Illustrator 2018, the program is always lagging and becomes non-responsive. Something simple like selecting "T" for a new text line will stall my program. I've attached my computer specs.

    2. The alt shortcut for brush tool no longer selects color with the eye drop tool. I have to manually select the eyedropper, then switch back to the brush tool which is very frustrating when I need to do this hundreds of times a day!

    3. The startup time has increased dramatically. Showing a blank screen for a couple minutes until the illustrator home screen finally appears. Also…

  2. Character Properties Disappears in "Draw Inside"

    Can't access the Character Properties (like changing font/size/line height) while in "Draw Inside" mode. I have to create/edit text in my main layer and cut/paste it in the "Draw Inside" object.

  3. I can draw a selection square, and then right click for context menu, but AI doesn't manage to select anything.

  4. Panel Options not displaying on click and hold

    In the panel selection for all the tools (natively on the left) as a click and hold on a tool (ie. The rectangle tool) it does not show any options to select anything else such as the ellipse tool. This issue exists on all of the tool buttons as well as trying to selecting font sizes, in the character panel. Another example is the transparency dropdown. The dropdown just doesn't show up when I click it.

  5. Artboard edge shows behind an object of the same size as the artboard

    1. CC 22.0.1 (32-bit)
    2. I'm creating a favicon, I started out at 164 px by 164 px and used Shift + Alt to resize it to 50 px by 50 px. Then I changed the size of the Artboard to 50 px by 50 px.
    3. I expected everything to line up and look right.
    4. A small white edge of the Artboard is visible on the right side of the drawing

  6. "CANT" ERROR

    Have updated to newest version of Illustrator and now get this warning on launch. Program does open but with no preset preferences available.

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no improvement.

    2. unlock maintain button in the properties panel, change high or Wight. they will still keep constraining the value

  9. Error on Artboard/Workspace

    1. Adobe Illustrator CC 22.0.1
    2. Tried working on a new artboard to learn interface and immediately started getting this problem - this happens when I select an object and try to move it. Then I am unable to move anything properly. I have been unable to find any settings that may have caused this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have received this same problem on different files and art boards.
    3. A triangular cut out that appears on the artboard and causes the objects to malfunction when manipulated.

    If I try to create something new, it disappears and then shows up again.

  10. "New Document" window doesn't scale on Windows 10

    On Windows 10, the "New Document" window (reachable from the "Get Started" window by pressing "Create new...", for example) doesn't scale according to the scaling set in Windows display settings.
    Set to 250% (Windows recommendation), the window looks fine.
    Set to smaller values, the content doesn't fit in the frame. See attachment (200%).

  11. Embeded image in symbol

    I am using Adobe Illustrator CC 2018.

    I am using a symbol that has an embedded image in it. When I re-link the image and embed the new image it does not stay when the symbol is exited. The symbol will also not allow me to delete the embedded image.

    In previous versions of Illustrator once the image is embedded and the symbol exited, the image remains and is placed across all the symbols.

  13. some objects wont print

    I am running illustrator CC 2018 on windows 8.1
    When I print certain files certain objects will not print. I have attached an example of the result. When I print black and white it works. Another person in our company with the same update and similar computer is able to print with no problem. I was printing the same file fine before I updated to the 2018 version two days ago.

  14. Since updating Illustrator to CC 2018 it runs worse than before

    Illustrator lags, it crashes. Creative Cloud sucks. Looking to switch over to CorelDraw. That's all I have to say. I'm annoyed and frustrated with Adobe since switching to CC.

  16. Name layer pop up panel appears twice

    On macOS 10.12.6, working with a Wacom. If you double-click on a layer to rename it and the panel pops up to rename, clicking OK doesn't get rid of the panel. It re-appears a second time.

  17. Can't preview artwork

    Hi, I can't preview any artwork. However I can see the layers and when I drag the file, i can see the preview. Once i release the mouse, it turns black again.

  18. The latest updates

    I've missed advert deadlines, because even though I'm on the newest Macbook pro, Photoshop and Illustrator have been dysfuntional, with artboards glitching, font sizes not being adjustable and glitching to the maximum size before telling me the font's too big.

    On top of this, the work often dissapears when zooming in and fonts do not sync with your type app.

    So I pay money for a subscription because you are industry standard, yet I've now missed deadlines, been hung up on three times by your support staff and failed to receive confirmation that you are at least attempting to solve…

  19. Issue when typing in the font name field to find a font

    v. 22.0.0
    iMac 2017 on High Sierra

    I use English and Greek keyboards on my Mac.

    Very often I start typing in the Fonts field to find a specific font.
    If the keyboard is set to Greek when I start typing, I delete anything I have typed, use the keyboard shortcut and start again.

    The bug is that the shortcut to switch keyboard language doesn't work while I am doing this.

    I have to grab the mouse and go on the Mac's menu bar and do it there, then go back in illustrator and start typing again.
