Type Object Selection by Path Only not working correctly
When a Type Object is rotated, Ai selects it when the pointer is clicked in side the bounding box of the rotated object, even when Selection by Path Only is active.

Eyedropper tool doing whatever it wants
For example. when using alt click (as for copying the style of what I have selected to another thing. It DELETES ALL STYLE from the thing I'm clicking on. When I click normally it just copies color (sometimes) and even though I have everything checked in the eyedropper tool setting. It just copies just color.
This is making me wast a lot of time
I already updated the software AND also did a fresh reinstall, even deleting settings. Didn't work.2 votes -
Problem syncing with CC Files on startup (sometimes!!)
Well the title says it all, really!
It looks like I have NO files in the cloud. But not all the time. Restarting Illustrator sometimes solves the problem.
I reïnstalled the program, have the latest updates, etc...
Maybe I overlook something?

Align to artboard not working for svgs added through File/Place
I added an svg to use (with File/Place) and wanted it to be centered. After clicking to align to artboard and clicking the Horizintal Align Center button it never actually centers. It moves a bit each click until it stops working all together (almost parabolic as seen in the attached gif).
Everything worked fine on objects created from within that file

file does not keep imported and applied paragraph styles after saving the file
- Illustrator 16.0.4 (CS6) Mac OS 10.11.6
- After applying imported paragraph styles, I can save the file, but when reopening the style effects have gone. Tried to erase the preferences etc. but it reappears not immediately, but after two or three steps for sure... What can I do?

Rasterizing artwork Overprints being discarded
When you rasterize art that has overprints the overprints are being discarded.
Illustrator CC2018 22.1

Illustrator has crashed twice in the past hour (and multiple times today)
I was editing lines in this document and it keeps crashing. Not sure why... Any help would be appreciated! I was moving lines from one layer into another when it crashed just now. Thanks!

Several Illustrator 22.0.1 Issues with High Sierra Update
The issues keep surfacing after the OS High Sierra update making my job increasingly difficult and frustrating. Issues ranging from bounding boxes not working to the inability to modify/click on text. Also, I find that I sometimes after some design and then saving the project, the layout switches back on all the changes that I made, after saving is complete. I'll close the file, reopen, and the changes appear as they should have. Crashing is also an issue, seems "minor" compared to these other problems. Oh, and most times when I save, I get the message that this file has…

Image File open but not showing up
When using the latest version of Illustrator cc I open vector images the image file opens however it is not visible, I do get visibility briefly when the file is shut down or resized from maximised within the program. It is only a fleeting view and disappears again when reopened or maximised?

Align Stroke isn't allowing me to place stroke on outside or inside of line on certain items.. Both options are greyed out.
Since latest update, Align Stroke isn't allowing me to place stroke on outside or inside of the line on certain items. I'm noticing this on both text and vector objects with "holes".

pen tool game

This game has been a valuable resource for teaching Illustrator. However, the game has been broken now, and Adobe do not seem to care or register the problem.
The resources you provide to teach and support products are an important part of the package. It does not look good to see such neglect of what was an excellent idea.
I would even like to see more of these interactive learning experiences, as it is more engaging and useful than most other types such as videos.
Obviously there is some maintenance of a web game, but it should be easy…

when trying to open exsisting files or create new files in adobe illustratior cc 2017
it comes up with error -a problem caused the program to stop working

AIGPUSNIFFER doesn't quit
Version 21.1.0
When quitting illustrator the AIGPUSNIFFER process continues to run, even though it should terminate, unless the task is manually ended in task manager. This is a huge issue considering it puts CPU usage at a high level which consequently affects battery life.

outline - filled shape bug
If I fill the new shape with color it doesn´t really work. I get a straight outline istead of a curve. Additionally there is a difference between outline view and colored view.

Illustrator doesn't find color profile, which are shown in Indesign
Hi everybody,
I installed an eci color profile (pso-coated_v3) on my windows 10 computer (right-mouse-click, then install). In Photoshop CC and Indesign CC everything is fine, so it is installed correctly. But the new profile isn't shown in Illustrator CC.
I reopened Illustrator and also de- and reinstalled it...
Does anybody has got an idea, why the new profile doesn't show in in the color-settings of Illustrator?

Rene2 votesAn installed color profile can be accessed and used like this:
Edit > Color Settings: Working Spaces, CMYK: choose the profile you need.
Then go to Edit > Assign Profile and set it.

Application crash when copy/pasting SVG paths
I have several logos that were created in Inkscape and saved in SVG format that I now need to edit in Illustrator. However even after re-saving them as AI files, any attempt to copy/paste any part of the SVG paths from the logo results in an immediate application crash.
Adobe Illustrator CC (latest) Windows 10 64bit
Steps:
1. Open the attached AI file (which was converted from SVG by opening then saving in Illustrator).
2. Select any part of the logo.
3. Copy using Edit -> Copy or CTRL+C
4. Paste using Edit -> Paste or CTRL+V

Illustrator Window Disappears after an attempted Windows 11 shutdown
Sometimes I forgot to save my file before I shut down my PC. When I attempt to shut down, the Interrupted Shut Down dialog opens, saying that Illustrator interrupts my shut down because I haven't save the file. However, when I click cancel to shut down, the illustrator window either froze or disappear and cannot be opened again. (Please find the attached video for the issue). This bug only happens to Illustrator and no other app.

Illustrator Freezing
Adobe Illustrator had been freezing for a week.
Mac OS Ventura
AI v 28.4.1When I go to Force Quit, it doesn't show it's not responding. I can't save or close files with Command+S or Command+W. When I right click and close from the dock, it crashes.
I can't reopen AI by clicking the icon in the doc or the Creative Suite app. The only way to get it to run is by going to my Folder and selecting an AI file to open. When is does reopen, it says it is recovering from a crash.
