Ligatures in Baskerville URW
Although ligatures appear on the Adobe Font Library website for "Baskerville URW" and are visible in the glyph panel, they will not update in Illustrator text object.

Space After Paragraph is Missing
I'm using Illustrator 2020, v24.0.1 on a MacBook Pro using OS Mojave v10.14.6
Not sure where it went, but in the Paragraph tool, the "Space After Paragraph" feature is simply gone. I've rebooted the program and its still missing. Need this basic standard feature back ASAP.

Letter Spacing
Open Type Letter Spacing doesn’t work properly. If I enable "all caps" the (usually ******) spacing is not applied.

Files change type position/spacing when opening file saved in older versions of illustrator
Files opened in 23.1.1 saved in recent previous versions of illustrator change spacing, position and kerning.
I am working in 23.1.1 and the files in question were saved in a recent previous version. What happens is only certain fonts (all open type format in document) jump position by as much as 1 point. this has been confirmed on multiple machines running new version (23.1.1)
It appears that kerning/spacing/tracking gets altered. The attached file shows the comparison between new version and old version. green highlights show amount of distance of shifting.

Font scrolling
When scrolling through fonts and selecting, it starts over from the beginning instead of where I left off, causing frustration and time.

Justification doesn't work right
In a block of justified text, when you fine tune the justification settings to spread the letters more evenly and avoid white gaps, the justification gets broken.
(In Indesign the same procedure works perfectly.)On my screenshot you see the default setting on the left, and on the right with the letter and glyph spacing set to slightly decreased minimum and slightly increased maximum values – and the justification is gone…

Unable to skew individual words/letters in type
In previous versions of illustrator, you were able to skew individual words/letters from the character menu. That option has been replaced by an option to rotate.
Distorting highlighted text distorts the whole box of type. The font I'm working with does not have and italics and I need this option to italicize specific words.
I am using 23.0.6 on a mac with OS Mojave 10.14.6.

BUG Nordic keyboard and special characters €, $, @ etc
Cant type special characters €, $, @ on nordic keyboard. Because Illustrator is overriding AltGr key function using it to make a selection.

Installed Fonts Not Being Updated
I've tried the forums but this issue is still not solved & I've not been able to find a solution anywhere. Allow me to clarify.
Thi issueeffects both the font menus and fonts in the entire document & actually across unlimited documents after unlimited numbers of app restarts and system restarts. I assume this can be fixed because I have proper behavior on one machine & improper behavior on another.

Clicking Area-type tool adds forced line breaks
When I click the right-side handle to switch from Area-type tool to Point-type tool, illustrator adds forced line breaks to the end of each line. Annoying because when I go back to area-type tool to reflow the text, none of the text reflows.

Pasting a text makes it loose its formatting
mac OS 10.14.3 running AI 23.0.2
The issue seems to be random and can't replicate every time.
If I copy a group formed by a path and text sometimes, when pasting, the path is expanded (?) and the text loses its format.
When pasting "in Front" or "in Back" sometimes works but ussually pastes in the left upper corner of the artboard.
When pasting a text in any possible way (in Front, in Back, in Place ... ) all format is missing.
The result is a little task consuming double or more time as the expected, delaying my performance and…

Colored text randomly changing to black
Mac OS 10.12.6 with Illustrator CC 2019
Since December text has been randomly changing to black. It happens with bullets more frequently, but sometimes two words in a paragraph will turn black. This happens frequently when I reopen files but also while I'm working.
Sometimes (but not always) when I change the color back with the eyedropper, it still shows up black in the Appearance panel (see photo).
My 2 coworkers are also having this issue.
I don't know if it's related, but I'm also having a problem with cutting (CTRL-X) objects. Simple shapes and text will temporarily not allow…

Fonts you use disappearing
First, I have done everything the Adobe support team told me and it didn't fix the problem. I have also reset Illustrator multiple times and re-install it and it didn't fix the problem. I also have no control an any Issues that I'm having so I can't tell you what I do that causes the problem it happens randomly like all Issues that I have shared and haven't shared yet.
I have attached a screenshot of the Issue that makes it clear whats happen with random fonts (typekit included).

Type resizing issue in Illustrator CC 2019 v23.0.1
If I try to change the point size of a typeface on type that is indeed selected (any typeface - not specific to any one in particular), while I can select or type in a specific size in the type "window" (cmd T to open, or I just open it from my docked windows) it has no effect on the actual size. I can change the size using the panel across the top (see attached screen cap) just fine.
This just started happening today. I've done no updates related to my OS (latest version for Mac of Mojave) or Illustrator.

Type Box fills with x's
When I choose the Type Box tool, and click in the document to create a Type Box or simply place text, as soon as the box is created, it fills with X's/squares and goes off on it's own continually typing the X/square.
At that point I am not touching the keyboard, there is no key being held down, yet it seems to be "stuck" in creating the X/square.
Initially it only happened with Myriad Pro, so I uninstalled that font. Then it continued to do it with Arial. Now it does it, no matter what. I've un-installed Illustrator and re-installed…

Editing text in Illustrator 2019 is so difficult -- there's a heavy lag, and it is incredibly frustrating. This is size 12 font, small file -- there is no reason why editing this text should be lagging, and I've noticed others having the same problem. Please fix this ASAP!

spell check english
My Illustrator is set to default language English USA but it always does spell check in Spanish. I make sure that it is checked for English in the character tab, but even after changing it to English, my spell check goes back to Spanish. I am running Illustrator CC 2019, 23.0

Text Objects become unresponsive
I'm encountering an issue where text objects will become unresponsive to direct selection. They behave like they have been locked but they haven't been, and using unlock all does nothing. The only way I've found to move them is by doing a broad drag select and gathering up multiple text objects at once. This will sometimes cause the text object to display it's bounding box. At this point I can deselect each of the other objects that were selected along with it and be left with just the problem object. Trying to move the object with the cursor will put…
