Panels Keep Opening While Using Shortcuts
Panels on the top of the screen keep opening when I try using tool shortcuts. For example, I'll be on the type tool then want to switch to the move tool but when I hit its shortcut (V) it opens the view panel instead (I get that this one doesn't work if I have type selected but I mean when nothing's selected and I want to arrange my type it opens the view panel instead of changing tools). Not sure if this is a common problem but it never happened until the latest update.

impossible to add to graphic styles by dragging from the canvas (version 25.0)
It is impossible to add an appearance of an object to the Graphic Styles Panel just by dragging it into the Panel. The less intuitive ways do work (click the "New Graphic Style" button on the bottom of the Panel or using the fly-out Menu.

Create New - custom screen unavailable
I recently had to uninstall and reinstall. Now when I try to create a new custom document these screen is blank and doesn't give me the options needed to create the specs I need. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, but no luck.

keyboard modifiers no longer work with Transform panel
Up until the latest release of Illustrator, pressing Command-Return after entering a new height or width for an object in the Transform panel would scale it proportionately. This no longer works and pressing Return does nothing if any modifier key is held down. The same is true for holding Option while pressing Return (this used to transform as a duplicate but has not worked for a while). UI input boxes show text with low baseline shift
Operating System: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6
Illustrator version: 2020 v24.3Most input boxes show text that "hangs" low, making it difficult to see what is being typed in.

Close button has gap
[windows 10] The close button on Illustrator has gap in the corner - and when your mouse goes to the corner (which it usually does when you want to close a window) - you are clicking on thee X button of the program beneath it. ...This is very furstrating and i just closed other software where i lost an hour of work. Can't Add Artboards in Increments of 10 by Using Shift
Used to be able in the new document window add 10 artboards by shift+clicking the buttons to the side. Now whenever I do it, it's just one at a time. Would be nice to have that back.

win10 2009 kein konformer Kachelhintergrund in der Startmenü-Verknüpfung
ich bin mir relativ sicher, das die fehlerhafte Darstellung des illustrator icons im neuen win 10 startmenü nur im dark mode) mit einem in der illustrator.exe implementierten xml code zusammen hängt.
microsoft wird mit dem nächsten update die icon hintergründe im startmenü deaktiviert. im dark mode ist dann jede kachel dunkelgrau, die typo ist weiß. beim Illustrator icon ist die Schrift aber schwarz und der Hintergrund hellgrau.
der white mode von win 10 2009 ist nicht betroffen!
ich habe illustrator & creative cloud mehrfach installiert und die Registry danach gesäubert (sogar ganz frisch auf einem zweit Rechner für Testzwecke installiert).…

Need to double up on action when resizing artboard to bounds or art
Op Sys: macOS Catalina 10.15.6
Illustrator version: 24.2.3Hello– After years of putting up with this I am hoping to finally have it cleared up. When I want to resize the artboard to either the artwork bounds or selected art, the app 'ignores' my first attempt to do so and only picks it up after the second attempt.

Canvas Unlock
I love the idea of the new unlock on canvas feature, but it is causing one problem.
If a locked layer is ABOVE another unlocked layer, I can not select the layer below. My cursor will only select the locked layer. Since it is now possible to select a locked layer I can't select an item BELOW the locked layer. This is pretty common for me and an easy way to work with lots of layers withouth hiding/showing to work with lower layers. Which kinda defeats the purpose of locking a layer . . .

Impossible to change preset of work area. Right panels, tools and control bar disappear every opening
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Illustrator version: 24.3
Everytime I open a document (new or saved) right panels, tools and control bar desappear. Moreover, work area settings doesn't work: at first the work area doesn't appear and, if I try to set it, it only takes the "automation" configuration but the relative panels do not appear1 vote -
Info Panel doesn't scale down horizontally on Mac OS. Windows version scales fine. (MacOS 10.15.5)
Tried several 5k iMacs to double check this wasn't a fluke, can't scale the Info Panel down on either one, use to be able to scale it down quite a bit (scaling works fine on the Windows version) only seems to affect the Mac version (since v24.0) doesn't scale as far. See attached image for reference.

Magnifying and Hand tool for macOS Catalina 10.15.6 stopped work since upgrading to Illustrator v24.2.3
Reseting the Preferences does not resolve the issue. Turning off animated zoom does not help either.

New document (File > New) window does not display options and has overlapping text
The "Create New Document" window doesn't display any options, just a blank panel. Also, the text is overlapping itself and unreadable. I cannot create a new document to any specified size.

File Save Window Font Styling Unreadable
(System: MacBook Pro 16" OS X 10.15 Illustrator 24.2.3)
When attempting to save a file, the save to window's text styling is nearly unreadable, the padding/margins are way too large, making the paragraphs very thin. Select buttons are pushed below fold, and window needs to be expanded to full screen in order to select where to save file.

crashes when select pull-down menu
OS : Windows 10 Pro 1909 (18363.1016)
illustrator version : 24.2.3 (64-bit)When selecting an item from the color mode or raster effect pull-down menu in a new document crashes app. It's a problem that has continued to occur ver 2020. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that doesn't solve the problem.
