GPU performance color
Illustrator CC 2019
Mojave 10.14.1Bright RGB red/pink appearing correctly in swatch, but washed out when filling a shape with same colour on artboard.
Only way I've found to fix this is to turn off GPU performance and the colour then appears bright and correct, but with GPU off live drawing is very laggy.
Any fix for this??

saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator
Illustrator 23.0.2 (64bit) and Windows 10 Versions 1809 OS Build 17763.379
This has happened numerous times over the past few months.
I try to create a new custom Adobe Color Theme in Illustrator. I am not able to do so and am given the error message:
"saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator"
I have tried restarting the program and signing out and signing back into my Adobe Creative Cloud but the problem remains.
Hope that helps - looking forward to a fix.

Transparency / Swatches
Quando a janela de Transparency está sobre a janela de Swatches e eu clico, se estiver sobre uma cor, um único click é como se fossem dois. Acaba trocando a cor do objeto que estiver selecionado.

Eye dropper not applying proper color/hex from Adobe Color Themes panel
I'm using the latest Illustrator v23.03. When selecting colors from the Adobe Color Themes panel, it does not copy the correct color hex to the selected item in my document. In the attached file, which I've scaled up for easier viewing, the square tiles represent the proper color within the Adobe Color Themes panel, with each overlaying the incorrect color Illustrator is copying over when selected. As you can see, there is a major discrepancy. This does not happen with all themes...some copy over perfectly, but many (in my case) do not. I've tried adjusting color profiles to see if…

Pantone Solid Spot colors added from InDesign to a CC Library become Magenta Process colors in Illustrator
A Pantone Solid Spot color (or any Lab spot color) added to a CC library in InDesign will become 100% Magenta CMYK Process color in the Swatches panel when added from the CC library by double clicking in Illustrator.

can not operate the slider of the gradation panel
I use google translation
- Max OS Mojave 10.14.4, Illustrator CC 2019 23.0.2
- Select a gradient from the tool panel
- I want to operate the gradation slider
- I have a problem with the graphic panel and I can not click the slider. The bug disappears when dragging out of the panel group by dragging the gradient panel, but returning it to the panel group and selecting the gradient again from the tool panel causes the problem again.
The same phenomenon as the attached image occurs. The opacity and position boxes overlap the gradient box, and the gradient slider can not be…

Can't drag a color swatch onto a gradient color stop
macOS High Sierra, then Mojave 10.14.3
iMac 2017
Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 24 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics Radeon Pro 570 4096 MBI used to be able to drag a color swatch onto the color stops on the gradient slider, replacing the existing colors on the slider. Now, in Illustrator 2019, the vast majority of the time it only adds the color swatch as an additional stop instead of replacing it. So the gradient will go from 2 stops to 3 despite me only wanting to replace one of the 2 colors in it. I can…

swatches are not saving
My swatches are not saving to my library after closing the program and have to remake them. My brushes are doing the same thing. They are also not there when I open a new document during the same session that I have made/saved the new swatch or brush. I looked to update my program but it appears to be up to date.
I have adobe illustrator cc 2019

Color Gray printing as brown when saving from Illustrator CC v23.0.2 to CS4
MacOS Mojave v10.14.4 & Illustrator CC v23.0.2
When saving a file from Illustrator CC v23.0.2 to CS4 the gray colors print as brown but if I save the file as the current Illustrator CC v23.0.2 it prints as gray as it should. It is a CMYK document with only K values. Discovered this from printing an older document created 08/2019 then printing the new document. The old document was also saved from the version at that date to CS4 but the new document saving to CS4 printed as brown not gray.1 votePlease get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Stop automatically changing RGB files to grayscale when working with colors
Illustrator takes an RGB file and converts it to grayscale when changing the color of paths. For example- in an RGB file I change a path to red. Illustrator turns the path gray and converts the file to grayscale. I then have to convert the file back to RGB in order for the path to show as red.

Appearance of Black Feature Not Working in Illustrator CC 2019
The "Appearance of Black" feature is not working after installing Illustrator CC 2019. I've tried to disable and re-enable the feature, however all blacks appear as rich black now. The document shown in the attached screenshot is in CMYK color mode. The black box on the left is 100% K only, the box to the right is C: 60%, M: 50%, Y: 50%, and K: 100%.
Previously 100% process black only would display as shown in the preferences window. I've tried to open an old document and create a new CMYK color mode document, however the 100% K looks rich…

Making changes to rgb vector artwork causing color changes
Using the latest version of Illustrator CC, when I open a particular logo (a multi-layered object with active strokes) and make any changes (ex: outline strokes, rotate, re-scale, etc), I experience a color dulling and color changes to the entire logo.
Oddly enough this only happens with the RGB version of the logo, not the CMYK version of the logo. And when I cmd-z these actions the color dulling / color changes won't revert back. In all of my years using Illustrator I've never witnessed this strange behavior, which is why I assume this is a bug.
Even stranger, after…

Global Process Colors get added twice when added from a CC library, lose their name and become Spot colors.
Create a Global Process Color Swatch and add it to a CC library.
In a new document, select this color in the library, right click and choose
Add to Swatches.
The color gets added 2 times, becomes a spot color and loses it’s name.
Or, in a new document double click the color in the Library. It gets added only once, keeps it’s name but becomes a Spot color.93 votesBackground:
- CC libraries does not have support for Global Process Colors
- Some users have spoken about InDesign – InDesign does not support Global Process colors
- Illustrator does support process colors , global process colors and spot colors. The issue is specefic to global process colors – since it is not supported in CC Libraries. We have added the request to support in CC libraries backlog,
Workaround:
- Create Process colors in Illustrator and add it to CC libraries – deselect the global checkbox

Delete Color Group in Swatches ungroups group instead deleting
When I need to completely delete color group, I select it and press Delete palette's button (or try palette's menu). Any way. AI moves all colors from it to general colors, removing only the folder, but not colors, asking nothing (even with warnings reset).
I have to deselect my art, click first of moved colors, Shift+click the last one and delete swathes again.16 votes -
Patern Maker's Numeric Scaling Is Broken
I'm creating a step and repeat wall using 2 graphics.
In a brick by column pattern, individual graphics can't be scaled using the menu dialog (Object>Transform>Scale).
However, they can be scaled using the tool panel's scale tool (keyboard shortcut s).
Entering precise scaling measurements that are supported in earlier versions of Illustrator would be appreciated!
