Picking a colour from the Library, randomly opens the colour picker
I've got a shared library with assets and colours to use in the work we're doing. When I have an object selected and I pick the colour from the library, it's 50/50 if the colour picker dialog box is going to open or not. I don't want it to open, I've clicked the colour I want to use, so why does it pop up and get in the way? Really annoying!!

Colour code 000000 (CMYK)
I select 000000 for a colour (in CMYK mode) to create a nice black. This is C91 M79 Y62 K97. However, when I go back, it will still be 000000 but C00 M00 Y00 K100 - which isn't the same? It seems to change at random?
This is on a PC using Windows.

Color Reduction Options reset after restart
- MacOS 10.13.5 / AI 22.1
- changing "Colors" to all, untick "Preserve" White and Black
- I expected these options to be saved and the same after a restart of AI
- after starting AI "Colors" are always reset to "Auto", "Preserve White" and "Black" is always ticked
Some of the color reduction options are always reset after restarting AI, e.g. "Colors" will always revert back to auto and "Preserve" white and black will always be ticked.
Colorize method on the other hand will stick.
This is like this since at least a couple of versions, also on Windows 10 with AI 22.12 votes -
CMYK sliders don't work when decimals appear
Mac OSX High Sierra Version 10.13.5 Adobe Illustrator 22.1
I am new this month to Adobe Illustrator.
I have been able to use my app for only 3 days in the last 3 weeks. I have a 2 second wheel of death whenever decimals appear instead of the normal number percentages. A few things happen when the decimals appear, either trying to use the sliders freezes the screen as it fades, or I can move the sliders and the decimals disappear, (3 days only), or I have just the decimals and cannot change the colors. Eye dropper picks up the wrong color
As seen in the clip attached, the eyedropper does not always pick up the correct color. After speaking with a few Adobe support members, they were unable to come up with a solution.

global color slider occasionally stuck
We work from a preset set of colors that I have set up as global colors so that we can easily use percentages of each color in the projects we work on. I have found that not infrequently the global color slider will get "stuck" on the initial percentage it is set to. Trying to change the percentage by typing in a new percentage will get set back to the percentage that it was originally set to (I was just working on a project where I set it to 30% initially. That looked too faint so I typed in "40"…

Problem rasterising unicode-named spot colors
If you make a spot color named not in English, assign it to a path and then try to rasterize it with "keep spot colors" option checked, the rasterized image will miss that spot color. It will be converted to process colors instead.
Renaming it to English name immediately fixes the problem. Adding a single non-English letter (I tried Russian) returns it back.
This can be easily tested with separation preview panel that hides unused spot colors. Tested on Mac with the latest Illustrator, also tried on older Illustrator CC - behaviour is the same.

Adobe Color CC "Adobe Servers not available" [Bug]
Unfortunately I can't open the expore-rider of adobe color cc when signed in.
Everything works perfectly, when I'm visiting the webpage https://color.adobe.com as a guest. But when I sign in, which is required to perform any actions, the above mentioned error occures.
The "Create" and the "My Themes" riders work still perfectly when signed in.
I've tried it under Edge/Chrome and Firefox. Besides Firefox none of the browsers has Addons installed. I'm running a Windows 10 Machine.3 votesHi ,

Mac Illustrator CC2018 cannot key in % of Cyan as the tint % of the Swatch
When create a swatch e.g. 20C 80M 0Y 0K,
I cannot key in 20 (%) as the tint of that swatch.
Even use my magic mouse scroll one digit to one digit, next to 19 is 21.
No digit 20.

Colors Display As Black and Blue
An AI file opens on all our computers except one, with 5 different colors, blue, green, and orange. The one exception opens the file but it renders as black and blue. In all the color settings areas it shows the correct colors but the rendering still doesn't render correctly no matter what you change.

Custom color library have varied and inconsistent behaviors
When creating a custom color library, for example, using PANTONE colors with custom CMYK values, Illustrator imports them in to the swatches pallet inconsistently. Double clicking adds colors one way, clicking on "add to swatches" adds color another way. And, some PANTONE colors are added differently than how they were imported in to the custom color library. For example: I created a custom CMYK build for PANTONE 115 C. I imported to my custom color library then double click to add to swatches. It adds the color but somehow converts the color to what looks like a Lab to CMYK…

Vectors and Paintstrokes Destroyed by Opening in AI CC
Files on Adobe Illustrator CS5 when opened in AI CC are totally distorted and altered. The live paint feature was eliminated from AI CC and so I assume this is why my lines are interpreted as choppy and broken even though they are coded as vectors is CS5. My paint strokes also have distortions and artifacts in them, making the piece unrecognizable from its former iteration and requiring hours of work in hopes of fixing it. The inability for simply being able to maintain old works from earlier versions of illustrator is a mind blowing oversight. AI CC is not…

Colour changes on Multiple Objects in Color Panel issues
Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6As per video, when trying to change colour of multiple objects in the Color Panel when colours aren’t set to Global, under CMYK settings I enter 0,0,0,0, hit Enter/Return on my keyboard, and nothing changes.
When the multiple objects all have colours that are set to Global, the Color Panel has other odd issues. Selecting CMYK, greyscale brings up no settings, but RGB, HSB does, though odd settings show up.

Show Tints/Shades menu issue
Show Tints/Shades menu in color guide does not allow to select a color on a first click, most of times you have to click several times to select the color, and on my Cintiq 13 Companion it is almost impossible to do it with the stilus.

Illustrator CC 2018 crash on swatch library import
Hello,
Every now and again when I import a swatch library from the presets folder via the Swatches import menu from "Other Library"; Ai would crash the first round. When I open the file again and repeat the import process, no crashes occur.
This happened with previous versions as well.

Swatches disappear
I've been experiencing this phenomena in which my swatches would disappear every now and then. One day, I'll have all the default swatches available in the swatch menu, other days, it'll only be the color white.
