1. Illustrator Apple Silicon Bug (Eyedropper issue)

   It is a weird bug that appear on "some file" which trasfered between M chip & Intel chip.
   (It caused lots bug when a file transferred between these 2 chips)

   You can see when I pick a color, it gives me a wrong color (red) which was never used in this file!

   The only way to figured out is ... pick more times ! D:

2. Bug: dragging global swatch to the “plus” button doesn’t work as expected

   MacOS 12.6.2
   Illustrator 27.1.1

   To replicate the issue:
   Create a group of swatches and put a global swatch inside the group.
   Drag this swatch to the [+] button to create a duplicate.
   The actual result: A new global swatch is created outside the group with “Original Name copy” name while the original swatch is also renamed to the same name. Changing one of those swatches also changes the other, they act as one swatch.
   Expected result: the same as when you alt-click the [+] button to duplicate a swatch. A new global swatch is created in the same group, it’s named “Original Name copy”, while the original swatch keeps its original name. They act as two different swatches.

   MacOS 12.6.2
   Illustrator 27.1.1

3. Bug: duplicate color names

   MacOS 12.6.2
   Illustrator 27.1.1
   The issue: one can create multiple swatches with the same name.
   Create a few non-global swatches or use existing ones. Go inside the swatches and edit the names to the same value for all swatches — no error is triggered.

4. Colour Change when pasting object from one document to another

   I have an object with colour #D96581. If I copy this object from an RGB document and paste it into a new RGB document, the HEX colour changes.

5. Color Mismatch when copy/pasting within Ai

   In 27.2, copy/paste, while staying in Ai gives a color profile mismatch warning.

   This is weird and should never happen. It also asks to Merge color swatches.

6. Pattern image is not copied to clipboard

   When copying an asset to clipboard (using Ctrl/Cmd + C) SVG data in clipboard doesn't have custom image pattern. However, if the asset is exported the image pattern is included in the SVG file.

   The freeze replicated by different swatch library files. Both my swatch library files .ase and files are offline. My frozen work file is in Creative Cloud.

I'm working on clock paid by my client so I have no time flipping through pages of others' writing to find a similar feedback and vote. By imposing this inefficient feedback system, Adobe is missing a lot of other bug reports because users would rather go right back at work than spend more here.)

8. Color mode changing issue (Grayscale mode)

   Hi,

   We are using Adobe Illustrator CS6 & CC22, for image color conversion.

   Input: Figures in RGB mode & color RGB
   Output: Figures in CMYK mode & color Grayscale

   Manual Process:
   When we change color mode manually by following below step, then no issues color mode was changed successfully:

   Step 1:Select Image.
   Step 2:Go to File Menu -> In Document Color Mode Select RGB Color.
   Step 3:Go to Edit Menu -> Edit Colors Select Convert to GrayScale.
   Step 4:Go to File Menu -> In Document Color Mode Select CMYK Color.

   Now our output images will be in CMYK mode & color Grayscale.

   Automation process:
   When we change color mode for batch of figures through Javascript using the below code, color mode was not changed:

10. PROBLEM Mixing and changing swatches colours in the file...

    We are currently designing on about 250 designs witch we have in the same file as different art boards. In the swatches panel we have created two different groups of colours (each group has 8 swatches). We design in each art board (for example Art 1) with one of the group colours (lets name it A). When we finish colouring Art1 we copy the design in the next art board Art2 and now we colour it using the other group (lets name it B). We save the file and the next day when we open it we find that the design in Art 1 and Art2 have the colours mixed!!! We find that some colours of the group A used in Art 1 have been interchanged with colours from the group B and vice versa...!!!
    The colours do not interchange in the colour groups between the swatches panel but in the objects of the designs in the art boards... PLEASE help and fix...

11. Color UI won't stop auto filling in shapes with a last used color

    I don't know if this is a bug or not, but ever since updating to Illustrator 27.2, the color picker in the color UI (after holding shift + click) won't stop auto filling in selected shapes with the last applied color used to fill in a previous shape. This is very frustrating and significantly bogging down workflows.

13. When I import a Color Library it changes to a swatch spot color and is a magenta spot color while folder is empty

    When I add a color library, downloaded from Adobe to my library and I tried to import into swatches it changes to a magenta color. The folder also comes up, but has no colors added to it. It's been doing this for multiple versions for a while now.

    I am using a PC and these are the specs:
    Device name Laptop-RoseGold
    Processor AMD Athlon Gold 3150U with Radeon Graphics 2.40 GHz
    Installed RAM 8.00 GB (5.92 GB usable)
    Device ID 8F7AE8FF-2B2A-40A1-A522-C798F101587D

    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

14. Can't recolour a shape or object

    I can't seem to recolour shapes or objects in the latest version of Illustrator. Normally, I would be able to insert a hex code, press enter and it'll be done.

    However, now, I have to insert the hex code and click on one of the other boxes for the colour to load before pressing enter. In this case, sometimes the wrong colour appears and I'd have to adjust the RGB/CMYK/HSB numbers to get the right colour. This happened when I was trying to insert a thistle colour and ended up with beige.

    Even worse, I sometimes enter the hex code and click away and it returns to the hex code it used to be. No matter how many times I try, that keeps happening. Copying and pasting a hex code won't work but there's a very small chance it works if I insert the hex code manually. I don't understand what's going on.

15. Colors in newly created files get neon-like saturated

    I have created some new files while being connected to a projector (NEC).
    When opening the same files later without being connected to the projector, the colors are extremely saturated.

    File saved without an embedded color profile as I always do.

17. Illustrator changes color values when pasting between documents

    When I copy and paste vector objects between documents (both in CMYK mode), it often slightly changes color values, unless I hit Cmd+C three or four times before pasting. It also often pastes unformatted text in default Myriad Pro font (workaround is also hitting Cmd+C multiple times (!?)). I work in printing industry, I am very familiar with color modes and stuff, have proper synchronised color settings, but this is really annoying.

18. Color changes when document is closed

    I am working on several documents with a specific color, and when I close the AI file, the color switches to a different HEX code.

    This issue has no pattern that I can understand, since it does not happen with all documents. It is even more odd because if I choose the color I want with the eyedropper, it remains correct, but if I write the HEX code, it does not. Besides, the color profile doesn't change when this happens, at least that I'm aware of.

19. Screenshot Preview Placement In Illustrator (Mac OS) changes document color profile

    When taking a screenshot on a Mac (Big Sur, 11.7) a small preview of the screenshot appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you grab that preview before it disappears, you can place it in an email, chat app, or any other software that will accept it, including Illustrator and Photoshop. It's a nice little time-saver. However, when I grab that preview and place it in Illustrator, the document becomes either "Untagged CMYK" or "Display" (RGB) on its own. I didn't notice this for a very long time, but was constantly having color problems, only to find out my color mode had been changed without my knowledge to "Display" or "Untagged CMYK". Now I know what's causing it at least! I can work around this of course, but since probably many others are having this problem and don't even know it, I thought I'd pass this on.

    Once the color profile is changed to "display" or "untagged CMYK" in this manner, no amount of "Command+Z" will bring back the colors you had OR change the color profile back to the original.

    One note: if the screenshot preview is left alone, it disappears and then is saved on the hard drive as a PNG; whereas, if left so save to the hard drive, it is saved as a PNG. If the screenshot is placed conventionally (either dragging from the finder into a document, or via File > Place, this color space change doesn't seem to be an issue. It is ONLY when grabbing the preview to place the screenshot as far as I can tell.

    When taking a screenshot on a Mac (Big Sur, 11.7) a small preview of the screenshot appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you grab that preview before it disappears, you can place it in an email, chat app, or any other software that will accept it, including Illustrator and Photoshop. It's a nice little time-saver. However, when I grab that preview and place it in Illustrator, the document becomes either "Untagged CMYK" or "Display" (RGB) on its own. 20. カラーコード入力で色を変えると戻れない

    Illustrator 26.2.1
    windows10 21h1

    カラーモードRGBでカラーパネルもRGBでの作業で、カラーコード(#と6桁)を打ち込んで色を変え、前の色に戻したいなとctrl+z(取り消し)を押すと挙動がおかしいです。
    まったく戻らなかったり、カラーコードを打ち込む前の操作に戻ったりします。

    コミュニティに投稿し、再現されている方がいるのでバグだと思います。
