Double Click on Fill results in Black
Double clicking on the Fill (bottom of tools palette), when the current fill is a gradient results in the fill turning black, in stead of opening the Gradient Editor, which might be helpful and intuitively right.
Please make this happen:
Double click on the Fill at the bottom of the tools palette should open the color editor that is most likely:
-RGB color should open RGB editor, CMYK should open CMYK editor, Gradient should open Gradient Editor, etc.2 votes -
Pressing None button in tool Panel for mixed fill/stroke doesn’t work
If you have a selection with different fills and/or strokes, Ai will mark it with question marks in fill/color selector.
And if you want set it to None, you should be able to click the button below — but it doesn’t work.
But the same button in Color panel works, and the '/' hotkey works.
Please fix this.

文字に適用した効果、光彩（外側）でカラーピッカーを起動しスポイトで画面の色を吸い取った後、吸い取ったカラーのグラデーション上に表示される円を移動すると全く関係のない色に勝手に変化してしまいます。

In "recolor artwork" when I select a "user defined" color palette, it lets me chose it, but will not use those colors.
In "recolor artwork", when I select a "user defined" color palette, it lets me chose that palette, but will not use those colors in the recoloring options. For instance, I can select the color palette, but when I go to randomly change the color order, it does not use those colors, it only uses the colors that are already in the artwork.
In previous versions, once I selected the "user defined" colors, that selection of swatch colors would appear in the "Swatch group" side panel. That no longer happens. And as stated before, just doesn't work in general.

Illustrator Paths Automatically Filled Black Despite No Color Selection
In the past few days Illustrator has given me trouble: as you can see in the picture i get a black filling on any path I create even if no color is selected!
I have just uninstalled and re-downloaded the illustrator app from my creative cloud (version 29.3.1) but it didn't solve the problem.
I can't work this way.

Recolor artwork with patterns doesn't work
Using Mac OS Ventura 13.3
Adobe Illustrator 29.2.1As described, I am able to access the recolor artwork panel but when I click OK it doesn't do anything. Video below. It used to work.

Only one pattern fill of many gets scaled when Transform Object option is disabled in the Scale dialog
Take a look at the attached file and watch the GIF.
I have an object with two pattern fills assigned, and I want to scale them both at once, but to leave the object unscaled.
But when I call Scale dialog and uncheck 'Transform Object' option — only one of two fills gets scaled — the currently chosen one in the Appearance panel (despite my attempt to pick 'Path' there to somehow make my intention clear).
Fill/Stroke Selector also displays the affected fill — and I surely understand it can’t have both. But what can we do to make it…

Recolor - Color Theme Picker not working with recolor tool
When trying to recolor an asset, the color theme picker doesn't function as normally.
This feature was working normally last week.

I can't seem to drag the the color I am using into the swatches like i used to. Nothing happens.

Symbol swatches on network drives won't stay persistent
We store our color and symbol swatches on a network drive. If we set our color swatches to be persistent, they automatically load whenever we restart Illustrator. This is not the case with symbol swatches. We have to reload manually every time. We expect them to operate the same way as color swatches. Please fix. Running Win 10/11 and the latest Illustrator.

Spot colors converting to Magenta when saving .PDF files
We have a few team members encountering issues when saving PDF files out of Illustrator (running Windows 10 and 11).
If the file contains spot colors (built from scratch or pulled from library), there's a chance it will convert to solid magenta. The biggest challenge is that the glitch isn't always noticeable on the designer's screen, so sometimes it will get sent to the client without knowing. It's also not always repeatable, so it's difficult to troubleshoot.1 vote -
Global colors used in a freeform gradient don’t get added into Swatches when it’s pasted into another document until the file is reopened
If you use global color swatches in the freeform gradient and copy to a new document, the global color doesn't get added to the swatches palette — you have to save and reopen the file for the swatch to appear.

When I deselect object whilst inputting CMYK colour values, the colour of the object changes, i.e. values suddenly change to other values. Mac OS Ventura 13.7.1 (22H221). Adobe Illusrator 2025 29.0.1

Сompound Paths with Pattern Fill
I encountered an issue where, after using the "Expand" command on Сompound Paths with using Pattern Fill, the pattern is duplicated several times.
Can this be fixed?

Mixed stroke colors become white when changing fills using CMYK spectrum in an RGB document
There is a way to make objects loose their stroke colors in specific conditions.
1. Create an RGB document
2. Create two shapes
3. Make them have same fill color, but different stroke colors
4. Select both
5. In Control panel Shift+click the arrow button next to the fill chip, to call the alternate UI with sliders and spectrum instead of Swatches view
6. In this dropdown panel’s menu pick CMYKStrokes become white.
This does not happen if the color mode in this panel is left RGB or HSB.

Program immediately crashes
In Swatches panel, when clicking on 'Swatch Options' icon, program crashes immediately. closes and bug report window comes up.
