Gradient stays selected when trying to pick a solid colour
After upgrading to v23, it's become very difficult to switch from having a gradient selected and to having a solid colour.

White is now yellow
All my colors with todays 10/16/18 update have shifted and have lost their embedded color file. (When opening previous work). My white swatch is yellow. But when placed in Indesign it is white as well well as the color makeup 0000. Hiw can i fix this?

colour themes/swatches/window never work
colour themes/swatches/window never work. Every time I try to do anything within the colour theme window I'm either asked to sign in when already signed in, or I try to create a theme and it 'saves' but doesn't actually do so, and afterward the theme window goes blank and I have to restart illustrator.
And now instead of doing work I'm here writing this and researching alternatives to adobe products. The sign in thing is driving me nuts.

Color palette overrides fill colors and color modes in Illustrator 2018
Hi, I am a design professor and most students in my class experienced a specific problem when we were doing an exercise to learn how to apply the correct color palettes to different logo files. Specifically, we created fictional identity designs as a means to learn how to create a production-ready bundle of files (a logo with versions in b&w, spot color (Pantone), 4-color process, and RGB). Almost 100% of my 18 students had their 4-color process file -- which was filled with CMYK colors upon designing, and should have stayed CMYK -- show up as being filled with RGB…

Default web presets proof CMYK
When selecting an RGB default, which should be basically Anything for screens, the default is still set to CMYK Web coated SWOP for preview.
It seems the only way you can actually get things to look OK is to set the preview to proof colors ON, and have it set to Monitor RGB. This also seems dumb because I'm working in an RGB document. What ICC profile is Illustrator using when proof colors are off?

Eyedropper doesn't work on groups
When I select a group and I try to use the eyedropper tool, this seems to not work.
In the fill box in the toolbar it appears as the colour already changed, but the group still looks with the original colour.
If I ungroup the group, or if I unite the group with the pathfinder (plus cmd+8), then the eyedropper works regularly, but this is not the ideal way to work. I already contacted the support online, but the issue hasn't been sorted out properly.I use MacOS High Sierra — Version 10.13.6

Shapes won't change to colours saved to Libraries
I have multiple colour palettes saved in my Libraries which I will use through Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign. Frustratingly, as I am in the middle of working on a design using basic shapes (rectangles, ellipses etc) and go to change the colour of that shape by clicking on a shade within my libraries it will not change! The shape will change colour when using colours from the swatches palette always. I end up having to quit Illustrator and restart it then colours from my library will work again.

Colour dissapeared
I've just opened a file I've been working on and all the objects and text colour has gone to white... except for one thing that has been left green... any ideas?

Picking a colour from the Library, randomly opens the colour picker
I've got a shared library with assets and colours to use in the work we're doing. When I have an object selected and I pick the colour from the library, it's 50/50 if the colour picker dialog box is going to open or not. I don't want it to open, I've clicked the colour I want to use, so why does it pop up and get in the way? Really annoying!!

4. Select gradient stop
5. Double-click Fill in toolbox to open Color picker
6. Choose any OTHER color

Color picker works weird with gradient sliders
Sometimes Color Picker, summoned for SELECTED color gradient slider with double-click on Fill in toolbox, shows color Black instead of actual color, but when applied, turns color to white even.
21 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Character Styles and Color Picker
Assigned a color value of #c0c0c0 to a Character Style. Selecting the same text and then checking the color in the Color Picker returns a hex value of #bfbebe. Ideas?

Colour code 000000 (CMYK)
I select 000000 for a colour (in CMYK mode) to create a nice black. This is C91 M79 Y62 K97. However, when I go back, it will still be 000000 but C00 M00 Y00 K100 - which isn't the same? It seems to change at random?
This is on a PC using Windows.

Delete Color Group in Swatches ungroups group instead deleting
When I need to completely delete color group, I select it and press Delete palette's button (or try palette's menu). Any way. AI moves all colors from at to general colors, removing only folder, but not colors, asking nothing (even with warnings reset).
I have to deselect my art, click first of moved colors, shift+click last and delete swathes again.16 votes -
Unable to click on colour swatches in colour guide panel with Wacom Intuos pen
It has been a couple of years now, and I still can't click on the swatches in the Colour Guide panel using my Wacom Intuos Pro Pen. It works fine if I'm using the touch setting to select the colour swatch but the pen will not allow me to select a swatch. I 3 pens and none of them allow me to do this. This issue has been ongoing with this tablet and pen and my previous one. I can't get a straight answer from Wacom or Adobe, they both claim it is the other that is at fault. No…

CMYK sliders don't work when decimals appear
Mac OSX High Sierra Version 10.13.5 Adobe Illustrator 22.1
I am new this month to Adobe Illustrator.
I have been able to use my app for only 3 days in the last 3 weeks. I have a 2 second wheel of death whenever decimals appear instead of the normal number percentages. A few things happen when the decimals appear, either trying to use the sliders freezes the screen as it fades, or I can move the sliders and the decimals disappear, (3 days only), or I have just the decimals and cannot change the colors. Color Reduction Options reset after restart
- MacOS 10.13.5 / AI 22.1
- changing "Colors" to all, untick "Preserve" White and Black
- I expected these options to be saved and the same after a restart of AI
- after starting AI "Colors" are always reset to "Auto", "Preserve White" and "Black" is always ticked
Some of the color reduction options are always reset after restarting AI, e.g. "Colors" will always revert back to auto and "Preserve" white and black will always be ticked.
Colorize method on the other hand will stick.
This is like this since at least a couple of versions, also on Windows 10 with AI 22.12 votes
