1. Inconsistent color

   With the new CC update, I can't calibrate colour across apps using Color Settings in Bridge. This started happening often on the previous release, but I was able to fix it by resetting this in Bridge. Now, it doesn't work. See attached – same Pantone colour (50% of Pantone Bridge 7500) in InDesign and Illustrator. The InDesign is accurate; Illustrator is not. Nothing I do seems to help. I may revert to older Bridge and Photoshop until you sort this out.

2. Color BUG with Black 100K

   there is a problem with the color black, but only in this special workflow as follows:

   open a new document in RGB > convert it or change the color mode to CMYK > define a new color with 0,0,0,100 > draw a form > reselect the form and check the color ... the 100K black has changed to a 4-channel black.

   if you start right away with a new CMYK-document, everything is fine and you will always get you 0,0,0,100-black-color, but whenever you start with a RGB-document the whole black-color-thing is bugged forever! even if you save the "from rgb to cmyk converted" document, close it an reopen it: you still have the problem.

   my guess is, the document itself is in cmyk, but the colorpicker and everything around that is still working in rgb-mode and is converting every color back to cmyk. in most cases it will not change any color, but black ist completely different, especially with black in 0,0,0,100.

   (win 10, illustrator 25.2.3 (64 bit))

3. Swatch Options Set to HSB but Shows RGB

   When I double-click a swatch colour that was made in HSB mode the Swatch Options window pops up with HSB selected as the mode but displays sliders for RGB. Switching the mode to something else and back to HSB fixes the issue.

   I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.

   Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

4. Swatch filtering

   Hello,
   In previous versions of Illustrator, entering a Pantone number would highlight the swatch. Now in Illustrator 2021, it filters out every other swatch so I can't "browse" for adjacent colors.

   I don't even know what setting to look for.

   What's up with that?

5. RGB colors appear differently in identical file setup

   I have created color codes in one document and brought them into another (with the exact same RGB setup) and the color breakdowns change to look the same. This is a problem because if I am sharing the RGB breakdowns with others, some of the colors appear much duller. I have noticed that something changes when an image is brought in from an external source sometimes. This is becoming a big issue across our team.

6. STRUMENTO CONTAGOCCE E TESTI DI COLORE DIVERSO NELLO STESSO BOX

   Ho un box di testo con alcuni caratteri rossi ed alcuni caratteri neri.
   Voglio copiare tutte le specifiche di testo (font, ecc.) da un altro blocco di testo con lo strumento contagocce senza modificare i colori del box di destinazione.
   Vedo che dallo strumento contagocce ci sarebbe la possibilità di escludere/includere il rilevamento del colore, ma quando si applica al box di destinazione tutto il testo contenuto diventa di un unico colore....

7. Color Theme Picker works with problems

   After the Adobe Illustrator update (don't know if it was the last one in April 2021 or the previous one) Color Theme Picker in a new version of the Recolor Artwork tool stops working. Not only in my app but in the apps of at least 3 people - different OS, different computers. It just doesn't activate then you click the icon.

   The solution was found but it was very strange - you need to open Adobe Illustrator not directly on your computer but through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. Then Color Theme Picker starts working. And continues to work if you reopen the app directly.

   We've found this solution by chance, 3 people tried to do this and this fixed the issue. But maybe something can be done from the side of developers to avoid such problems in the future.

8. Colors used in Symbols

   The problem is:
   If you "Select Unused Colors" and delete them, color swatches that are used inside of Symbols are deleted if they're not used elsewhere in the artwork outside of the Symbol. Behind the scenes, those colors are apparently assigned names numerically like “Deleted Global Color 5”. These names are revealed if you choose to Add Selected Colors to the Swatch palette, or Add Used Colors.

   This is bad enough because an element’s official Pantone colors are lost when one tries to tidy up the swatch palette associated with a document. Visually nothing changes in the document, but when we send to to manufacturing, the precise official color designations are lost and we have to re-do a lot of work.

   It is DISASTEROUS when copying several such items into a new document. Completely different elements from Symbols used within different documents commonly will share the same basic “Deleted Global Color” name and instead of adding new swatches for different colors, Illustrator merges all subsequent instances of “Deleted Global Color 5” (for example) with whatever the first instance of “Deleted Global Color 5” is. This radically alters the appearance of artwork within symbols and is frankly, unacceptable behavior.

   The correct behavior should be:

   • Colors used in symbols should not be deleted when the user “Selects Unused Colors” in the swatch palette. The colors are in use after all!

   • If that is for some reason unfeasible or turns out to be an undesirable behavior for the majority of users, then deleted colors should be assigned unique identifiers instead of the current behavior where radically different colors from different documents share the same default names.

   We have tried to modify our workflow to stop encountering this problem, but keeping the swatch list tidy is important to streamlining our workflow. In a busy production environment, symbols can be sanity-saving, but when combined with good document hygiene, they become a nightmare all over again.

   The problem is:

9. Overprint fill

   Overprint fill, if all layer is chosen sometimes it shows like not all elements are chosen like overprint fill or oposite. It is serios mistkake as can cost a lot of money and lost reputation companies by this bug. This kind of error should be corrected immediately by Adobe. If not all elements are overprint filled maybe it can be a good idea to show like mid terms used? Dear Adobe Team, please answer the bug solution.

10. Adobe Illustrator 2021 on Big Sur seems to have MANY bugs, one of them is when a vector is selected, its doesn't detect the colour.

    Note Purple but brow odd shape is selected.

11. Bug: Swatch Conflict Dialog, Apply to All checkbox not working

    After checking the Apply to all checkbox when I get a swatch conflict, the box keeps popping up with more conflicts. Esc key doesn't end it. Haven't seen this before v25.

12. Spot colours in gradients are not exported to PDF

    If I have a gradient that includes a spot colour, and then export that file as a PDF, the spot colour is removed from the gradient. This happens no matter what PDF export setting I use.

13. Colour conversion values have changed?

    Our company logo uses 3 colours. 100% cyan, 100% magenta and 100% yellow.
    Had rgb values for these for years, but have done a conversion of the logo today and the rgb values are different to previously. Why would this be? In illustrator.

14. Colors Being Displayed Differently than in Color Picker

    I just decided to update to AI 2021, bad idea... I was working on a file and I realized that the color had changed from the original dark blue to a purple color. I do not know what happened, but I know it must have to do with the update because it happened right after this.

    i have been dealing with a color issue in Illustrator 25.2.1
    
    all the colors changed to a weird colors and it became very slow even if the artwork size was small.
    i have attached 2 photos in cmyk and RGB i was trying to make the same color from the original artwork in both RGB and CMYK it's not the same.
    any one know why

17. カラー設定が勝手に変更される

    カラー設定が勝手に変更されます。オリジナルに設定したカラープロファイルを常に使用しているのですが、こちらが何もしていないのに「Adobe Illustration 5.5をエミュレート」に勝手に変更されます。以前のヴァージョンではこのようなことはなかったので、改善していただきたいです。

    こちらのカラー設定の不具合は、Photoshop を最新バージョン「ver.22.3.1」にアップデートすることで修正されます。
    お手数ですが、Photoshop を「ver.22.3.1」にアップデートをお願いします。
    それでも問題が解決しない場合は、Bridge の設定をリセットしてください。

18. Color Theme Window Cropped

    Hello, for whatever reason my color theme window is being cropped, I am able to scale vertical but not horizontal. I tried going back a version, changing user interface and nothing will correct it.

19. Configuração de Cores ficou horrivel

    Depois a última atualização do illustrator, as configurações de cores ficou toda bgunçada, o programa força a opção "EMULAR ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR 6.0", e quando acesso arquivos que ja tem as cores com seus valores definidos o programa muda as cores por conta própria. Não encontrei uma maneira de desabilitar essa função.

20. My colors keep getting dull randomly without changing settings

    This has happened repeatedly on different documents. When I select a color, I find that when I look back at the file (without closing the file) in 15-20 minutes, the colors become dull. My settings are in RGB.
