Cyrilic character disappears when loaded from variable library
When I load a csv variable library that contains the cyrilic character ç in it, this character disappears when I merge it with the template. Using Adobe Illustrator v29.6.1 on a Mac Sequoia 15.5

Impossible de redimensionner un objet sur Illustrator
Bonjour,
Depuis la mise à jour Illustrator 2025, je n'arrive plus à redimensionner un objet ou une image.
Le curseur ne s'affiche pas dans le coin comme habituellement sur les autres versions d'illustrator.

29.4 is hanging/freezing in dialogs
I have found myself unable to work in 29.4. Program hangs/freezes all the time after entering some kind of dialog (save, settings, color mode, etc). I reset the settings to default, didn't help.
Reverted back to 29.3.1, no problems

Shortcut for Split Into Grid
I previously had a custom shortcut assigned to the “Split Into Grid” command, and it was incredibly useful. However, it seems that this shortcut no longer works and the command has been removed from the Illustrator keyboard shortcuts menu, preventing me from reassigning it.
I truly hope this feature can be reinstated, as it significantly streamlines the workflow and enhances productivity.

Clearly inform about specific words "violating" community standards when generating art
I think when 'one or more words' violate the guidelines, Illustrator should clearly inform us what words these are exactly.
I guess this can be used for a bad cause, like to gather the database of restricted words... but I don’t understand why normal users should suffer because of this.4 votes -
Perspective grid vertical axis has incorrect foreshortening
The vertical axis of the perspective grid has an incorrect scale/foreshortening factor. For example, if you show a cube, it appears too tall.

buscando lista de impresoras
Al intentar abrir cualquier archivo en Illustrator el programa en lugar de abrir el archivo se queda cargando y dice obteniendo lista de impresoras, carga y vuelve a iniciar la carga, como un bucle.
Al darle click en detener, el programa se bugea y solo me da la opción de cerrarlo.

Since MacOs Sequoia upgrade, Illustrator randomly recording / monitoring screen despite disabled in Privacy settings. Sequoia bug, AI bug, or Sequoia revealing this was happening all along. Could just be the color picker, could not. Doesnt happen reliably with color picker use. Only happens in Illustrator and only since the Sequoia upgrade. Something isnt working right between the OS and app.
If screen monitoring is turned off, Illustrator should not be able to monitor.2 votesIllustrator uses Apple screenshot API to pick colors outside the Illustrator window with Eyedropper tool. Apple has enhanced security in the recent OS updates to let user know which applications are recording the screen, whether you pick a color value of single pixel or recording the entire screen.
Illustrator is not recording users's screen, it is required for Eyedropper tool to pick color from single pixel.

Illustrator prevents Mac display from sleeping due to inactivity
When Illustrator is left open for some time, it prevents my MacBook display from turning off and locking. It also prevents the screensaver from coming on. I am 100% sure this is caused by Illustrator because I have done the following experiment twice:
- Change the screen saver to come on after 1 minute.
- Leave the Mac idle for over 1 minute.
- Screen saver does not start.
- Close Illustrator application.
- Leave the Mac idle again.
- Observe that the screen saver starts and the computer locks after 1 minute.
After restarting Illustrator, the problem goes away for a short time but then…

Path offset with decimals
There are decimals in the path offset, resulting in significant errors

After updating Illustrator 2023 to v27.9.2, the name gets changed to Illustrator 2024
After updating, the name should remain the original, Illustrator 2023.

別の変数ライブラリを読み込むと「不明なエラー」がでる
・すでに変数ライブラリが読み込まれている
・１つの変数に複数のオブジェクトを割り当てているこのようなとき、変数＞変数ライブラリの読み込み、から別の変数を読み込もうとすると、
「不明なエラーのため、フィルター処理を完了できません。」
と表示されるバグがありますので、報告します。なお、複数割り当てられているオブジェクトを「変数のバインディング解除」で１つしか割り当てられていない状態にすると、上記のエラーは起こりません。

Keyword search in Illustrator panel is not giving results for all libraries
Working on macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
In Illustrator 28.4.1 (seen the bug in different Illustrator versions e.g., 27.9.2)Experienced behaviour:
When I search in ‘all libraries’ in Illustrator I don’t get results from all libraries (picture 1), instead (I believe) I’m getting the results from recently used libraries (those which are synchronised with my computer).So to be able to search all libraries I need to click one by one, load them and then I’m able to search. (picture 2)
Wanted behaviour:

Saving a new Image Trace preset does not remember the "Auto Grouping" checkbox’s state
When doing Image Trace, I don't need Auto Grouping. I tweak all the settings, uncheck "Auto Grouping", and save a New Preset.
But after applying that saved preset to the new image, "Auto Grouping" checkbox is still checked by default - and i need to uncheck it every time manually (and that triggers "re-trace") before i click "Expand".
I need to have a preset without "Auto Grouping", but it's impossible to do, since Illustrator simply ignores that check-box when saving a preset.2 votes -
Flatten Transparency color change
Illustrator 2024 29.4 (64-bit) Windows 11 Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 165H 3.80 GHz, 32 GB Ram
When using the "flatten transparency" or "rasterize" options, there is a single line of text that keeps changing color. See screen shots attached. This happens regardless of what settings I select. I need the color of the text to be maintained through the operation.

Macのスクリーンタイムでの利用時間カウントが正常でない
お使いのオペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン：
Mac OS 13.6.4（22G513）
Illustrator 29.3.1問題が発生したときに実行していた手順：
アプリを起動した状態で、Macをスリープした状態（操作は行っていない）想定していた結果：
Macのスクリーンタイムでは、Illustratorの使用時間がカウントされない実際の結果
スリープしている時間も、ずっとIllustratorを操作した時間としてカウントされている
（添付画像はある日のスクリーンタイムのスクリーンショットです。
深夜2時から朝の11時にかけて、スリープ状態でしたが、Illustratorを操作したことになっています。
1度きりの発生ではなく、毎回このような状態になっています。）

画像トレースのグラデーションが適用されないバグ
バージョン 29.2.1で、［画像トレース］パネルの［グラデーション］をONにしただけではグラデーションが適用されません。

When does Adobe plan to update Illustrator to new Windows 11 (24H2)?
I can't install Illustrator on my new Windows 11 (24H2) computer.
I understand that this 2024 operating system is not yet compatible with Illustrator. When does Adobe plan to update?
Currently compatible Windows operating systems 11 v23H2, v22H2 and v21H2, Windows 10 v22H2 and v21H2
