Illustrator & Mohave
I performed the upgrade to Mojave 10.14 yesterday from High Sierra. Now I am dealing with some really strange & frustrating Finder & Adobe CC behavior. "An unexpected error occurred (error code -8011)" when I try to rename files in Finder.
Illustrator, instead of saving over my open working files, is generating new file versions named in numerical order -without my doing- and I am unable to change these filenames after closing them all and renaming them in Finder. And it sometimes skips a save, too. For example, when I hit Save in Illustrator, new file appears named "Filename 1.ai,…

Please upgrade to version 23 to see if it resolves the issue.the error as seen in screenshot is form Apple Os, you may want to contact them to resolve finder issues

macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy
MacBook Pro 2017 just upgraded to macOS Mojave and the zoom is slow to respond and the artboard moves all over the place. any short term fixes would be appreciated.

1 voteUnless we get specefic actionable items it will not be possible for us to correct. Performance can be due to variety of reason a file type , a particular type of object on the file (e.g. a large raster), some interference with software that interfere with our event etc… Please help us to help you.

Screen Problems
Hi, There.
I use Illustrator CC 2018 and my OS is Win10 64bit.
Graphic Card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti.
My illustrator have a problem comes up.
The problem is when i drawing or moved object and that gray is what breaks my screen.(like a images.)
I checked GPU Performance of illustrator Options.
but, This problem is over and over again!

symbols are not displayed
I have a problem with symbols which I use frequently to have consistent UI.
The problem happens sometimes that when reopened a file (package) after some time the symbol is not displayed! Freezing when working on files with lots of details
I've noticed others are having this exact same problem:
When working on files with a large number of items, the program will freeze up the whole computer -- necessitating a forced reboot. This happens constantly with the latest update.

Slow performans on Mac OSX
Hi,
I have been having this problem for a long time. I thought the problem originated from me and I bought a new computer but I have been disappointed.
This problem is has constantly on the Mac system and I did a test today. I saw that Windows pc is more stable. This is a serious problem.
This problem is has in many projects. Normally, a computer with this feature should give very good results.Please consider this situation urgent.

Crash when applying stroke
Illustrator often crashes when apply stroke to simple path or compound path. Crash seems random and inconsistent but happens 6-10 times a month.

Illustrator 22.1 crashing on MacOS high sierra every time I try and save work
Hi Adobe tem,
I have just updated Illustrator to version 22.1 from my creative cloud and it is crashing every time I try and save (both locally and to the server). I am running MAC OS High Sierra 10.13.5
Will there be a bug fix coming as I have noticed a lot of other people commenting with similar issues.

The pointer has gone crazy!

-Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 v22.1.0.312After updating the last MacOS 10.13.5 system, the cursor/pointer decides to randomly click on the work area. (it's not a mouse problem) This problem is very serious, because it doesn't make me work.

Freeze during heavy detail
I'm working on a macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.4 MacBook Pro on Illustrator 22.1
When I have a detailed design - ie a palm tree with numerous branches. I try and resize it or copy paste it and the program freezes then my whole computer freezes and I have to restart the computer.
I expect this program to be able to handle designs with heavy detail and not freeze up every single time.

Slow on iMac
I have just bought a new iMac Retina 5K 27-inch (2017) with i5 3,4 processor, 16 gb of Ram, Raedon Pro 570 with 4 GB.
Illustrator is very very slow... the files I have are simple vector only with no effects and simple paths. The files are local.
I have a low spec 5 year old pc laptop, the files run better on that...

Line distortion Issue
I am having this issue while designing in Illustrator. The example attached is only one area that is having this distortion. The smooth lines have little cuts out of them, but when I save it out it seems to be ok. It is very distracting and would like to know if there is a fix for it.

layer panel crashes
Scrolling in the layers panel on the laptop crashed illustrator
and all the images disappeared from the recovered file.
my illustrator version is 22.1 64bit.
i am running win10 64 bit up to date.

Consistent repeat crashes
Consistent repeat crashes. I'm on a MAC High Sierra. I know my Illustrator 21.1 will at least crash around 10am and 3pm EVERYDAY. It goes through phases where it will crash 4 times a day.
I am merely opening an Illustrator file from my desktop or in a folder on my desktop that is 1mb -5mb most times when this happens. When clicking on the file and waiting for this small file to open and nothing happens I realize that it's locked up.
I check the task manager and sure enough it's not responding and I have to force quit…

Illustrator CC 18 freezing on macOS High Sierra
Ever since upgrading to 2018 Illustrator, it frequently freezes my entire screen after performing simple actions such as moving or rotating objects. Have had to hard-reboot my MacBook Pro 2016 (Touch Bar version) several times which is obviously not good for the system. This is not an issue with any of the other Adobe CC apps I have installed, Photoshop/InDesign/Premiere Pro etc. all work perfectly fine. Please resolve this ASAP - I rely on Illustrator for my work.
