1. Illustrator crashing wheen trying to open any document

   illustrator crashes as soon as i open it, I resently uppdated windows to 1809 and i have the latest illustrator updates. I tried diffrent ways to uninstall and remove both CC and illustrator with CC-cleaner and by following instructions on how to delete illustrator completly and reinstalling it again with no diffrence in result (still crashing). I cant say that my computer is the latest or the strongest but it worked for the first week then suddenly it started crashing.

   I have a lenovo laptop with an 6:th gen i5, 8gb ram, ssd-storage and integrated graphics.

2. Can No Longer Open PDF's directly to ILLUSTRATOR

   I just updated to Illustrator 2019 and I can no longer open a PDF into it from Bridge. Even if they were created in Illustrator. Some will open, but I have to close any other projects within Illustrator for them to open at all.

3. Illustrator 2019 Crashes on startup

   I've upgraded to the latest Illustrator (2019), but it crashes on startup. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, but it still crashes. I've re-installed it with fresh preferences, e.g. not importing settings from the previous version and it still will not startup. The same thing is also happening to InCopy.??

   Luckily I did not remove the previous version.

   Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it??

   I'm running a MacPro (Late 2013), 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 32GB RAM, AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB, with macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

4. Illustrator hangs when opening a file or creating a new one

   Windows 7 Professional with all the latest updates.

   I tried the following Illustrator Versions:

   V 23.0 and V 22.1

   Illustrator opens as usual and I see the overview screen. When I select a file or try to create a new one it just loads forever. Nothing happens. Also in task manager there is nothing going on. No high cpu or memory usage.

   I worked for years with Illustrator on this machine. Version 22.1 always worked. The issue appeared after updating to the latest version. I also uninstalled the latest version but the issue still remains. Any idea of how to track down this problem?

   Windows 7 Professional with all the latest updates.

6. Extreme long open of 2017 illustrator seem to stop on perspective plug-in

   Slow Slow Slow... plug-in that are not used should be able to disable to make illustrator start up faster. Extremely long startup.

7. Hidden dialogue/tip box behind application. Can't close or click anywhere in Illustrator. Just a beep

   Within a few seconds of opening a document in CC 2018, a hidden dialogue box pops up behind the application, blocking any ability to click on options in the app until that box is closed. Problem is the box is hidden and nowhere to be found so all you hear is a beep each time you try to press anything. Force quit is the only option and this means not a single bit of work can get done. On Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3

8. Opening File with Missing Fonts Crashes because of Missing Fonts Dialog

   When opening a file sometimes the missing font dialog pops up and it crashes Ai, the dialog stays white/unload and causes Ai to crash

9. Takes about 15 minutes to open/unfreeze

   Since the last update 22.1 it takes about 15 minutes to open...
   I get a white frozen screen for an average of 15 minutes with just the contour of the app...and than it open nomally.

   My system:
   Windows 10 Pro

13. Illustrator 22.1 hangs on start; reinstall only fix I can find

    I have a late 2013 Mac Pro, running OS 10.13.5. This problem started about 2 months ago for no apparent reason. When I'm done with Illustrator for the day, I'll quit the application. It may be a couple of days before I have to re-enter illustrator. Most of the time this works, but now, randomly, upon clicking on the application on the launch bar, the splash screen comes up and then the app appears to load, but no start window appears. The illustrator menu bar is there, but is grayed out and you can mouse over the menu bar options which will even drop down when clicked but they are all grayed out as well. The only way I can quit the program is to force quit. I've tried restarting to see if that will fix the issue, with no success. The only thing that fixes it is uninstalling from the creative cloud menu, and then reinstalling. I've had to do this 5 times in the last 2 months and its getting really frustrating. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    When opening new document it only gives two options and there is no way to generate a custom template. Windows 10.

    Opened my document this morning and all the correct layers were there, closed out because I made no changes so there was nothing to save. reopened my document again all my layers were gone! only showing the orginal base image. Help

17. MAC: System has run out of memory and force quits - Activity Monitor shows > 100GB

    After launching Illustrator it will force quit with an error message "your system has run out of application memory." I have 8GB of memory and no other applications are open or running when I launch Illustrator. I am noticing in the activity monitor that illustrator is using a large amount of memory, extremely higher that usual. This started happening a few days ago and I have no changes to my OS or updates to Illustrator CC

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    I do have one suggestion – please reset preferences and try again. Found the following in your crash report.

20. The software is glitching and refusing to open certain Illustrator files.

    I have to quit and open the software multiple times before I can get one file to open in this latest update.
