Illustrator v23.01 will not open subsequent vector files via Indesign, Bridge or directly from a folder.
When I try to "Edit with" in InDesign or open a vector file via Bridge or directly from the folder, it opens the file for the first time on launching the software, however if I try to open files again while Illustrator is up and running, it will not open. I then have to quit Illustrator to open the file. This is counter productive as I have to do this even when i have to make a small edit or move/delete an object. Especially when I'm working on multiple graphs, etc.
My fix for now is to revert back to…

Illustrator crashes as one file opens.
Opening a file I have been working on, Illustrator crashes just when the window appears after the loading bar disappears. As far as I know, this only happens with this particular file. I can open another file which is much larger.
This is pretty much a disaster for me.
I've tried restarting, and closing all other programs. AI still crashes in the same way.

Illustrator keeps crashing when opening files or when creating a new file.
Like the title says, Illustrator crashes no matter what I do when opening files or when creating a new file. Nothing seems to fix it, a fresh install did nothing as well. Any ideas? got important projects I need to work on =_=.

OPEN WITH default app
Since the new update 23.0.1 it is not more possible to start a file default with illustrator.
i tried several times installing and unistalling illustrator different versions.
the problem persist.after 7 installations of new and old versions, removing all files from regirtry i
Now i installed both, CC2019 and CC2018, and the same, it is not possible to change starts only default with cc2018.
(or other apps) but never with CC2019i can start only illustarator 2019 with "open with" on this one time way works.

Can No Longer Open PDF's directly to ILLUSTRATOR
I just updated to Illustrator 2019 and I can no longer open a PDF into it from Bridge. Even if they were created in Illustrator. Some will open, but I have to close any other projects within Illustrator for them to open at all.

Opening File with Missing Fonts Crashes because of Missing Fonts Dialog
When opening a file sometimes the missing font dialog pops up and it crashes Ai, the dialog stays white/unload and causes Ai to crash

Illustrator 22.1 hangs on start; reinstall only fix I can find
I have a late 2013 Mac Pro, running OS 10.13.5. This problem started about 2 months ago for no apparent reason. When I'm done with Illustrator for the day, I'll quit the application. It may be a couple of days before I have to re-enter illustrator. Most of the time this works, but now, randomly, upon clicking on the application on the launch bar, the splash screen comes up and then the app appears to load, but no start window appears. The illustrator menu bar is there, but is grayed out and you can mouse over the menu bar options…

Missing Layers
Opened my document this morning and all the correct layers were there, closed out because I made no changes so there was nothing to save. reopened my document again all my layers were gone! only showing the orginal base image. Help

The software is glitching and refusing to open certain Illustrator files.
I have to quit and open the software multiple times before I can get one file to open in this latest update.

Installation Failure
When I downloaded Adobe on my Asus Computer, it will load Illustrator and then after a small time period. I will receive the message saying that there was an installation failure. It will also say something such as "Error Code P204".

Error message while launching Illustrator CC 2018
This message in German occurs while launching Illustrator 2018. After saying OK, a fragmentary Applikation displays, which is not operational. It is completely buggy and blocks even Finder until it is being quit.
"This process can't be completed, because an unknown message has occurred. [CANT]"

Illustrator opening as trial and not recognizing current subscription
when opening illustrator from CC app manager or directly from start menu,
illustrator does not allow to open full version even though I have pro subscription. There is a button to buy now but that just takes me to purchase an additional subscription which I'm paid up for. Illustrator 22.0.1 not opening in High Sierra
I (foolishly) updated to High Sierra last night. Now Illustrator won't open. Clicking on the icon, all I get is this:

Optimize Illustrator
I've already optimized Illustrator for my graphics card. I keep getting the notification for it, even though I've done it.
I could turn off the notification, but I'd rather get important Adobe update news.
Can the message be automatically deactivated if we've already optimized?
