.psd clipping path makes imported image scale incorrect
Create a file in Photoshop at 300dpi with a clipping path, import the file into Illustrator CC and place it. Make a note of the scale it imports at then import that same file without a clipping path and you'll get a different scale.
It seems Illustrator is treating the clipping file the same as an embedded file and using 72dpi as it's default resolution.
Why a clipping path should do this to a file is very strange.

Pasted/Embedded Images are disappearing
- 22.0.1 on MacOS 10.13.3
- Illustrator closes either through my action or an unexpected crash
- I expect all of the embedded files I've been working with to display on the canvas
- A handful of the images will appear, but almost everything that has been linked (then embedded) or pasted into the file only appears as an empty bounding box. The images will only reappear if I use the link panel to hunt for each file and place it again. 40 minutes into this, I don't even know if I'll be able to fix all of the images that I pasted into…

Image resolution wrong when rotated
When you place an image into a document the resolution is shown correctly, but if you rotate it, Illustrator continue to consider original pixel width and height as if image was not rotated.
Example:
- Import new 800x400px @72dpi image.
- Illustrator shows correctly 72ppi.
- Rotate it 90°.
- Illustrator now shows 144x36ppi, as if image size was 800w x 400h but it was stretched to 400w x 800h (so 800/400 = 2x -> 144 and 400/800 = 0.5x -> 36).33 votesThank you for reporting the issue. We have added the issue to our backlog.

Image automatically gets embedded when dragged into Illustrator
This is screwing my work flow and happens out of nowhere
5 votesPlease accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

.TIF are distorted when placed and rotated in AI
There is a bug in Illustrator 22.0.1 that distorts placed .tif files that are rotated. It is not just a display issue, but actually distorts the placed .tif image when I export my art to all file types. Attached is a before and after screen shot of what I am experiencing, using a bitmap .tif as a texture placed over my vector art. The two .tif files are the same, one just rotated 90°.

Cannot check resolution (ppi) of an image in CC2018
In CC2017 when you were resizing an image you could check its ppi, in CC2018 this is not possible. I checked in info panel with the image selected but this information is not even there.

Link location mistaken for other document's link location
When opening a specific document, links are found missing.
When I open the document nevertheless, click on a link and check the location, the path it shows is one that was used in a previously opened, unrelated document.
When my colleague opens the document on her computer, everything is fine.
