  1. Illustrator crashes when opening a file using 'double click' that has missing fonts.

    Version: Adobe Illustrator 2018 CC v 22.0.1 (64 bit)

    Step 1: I open a blank Illustrator for the first time and it opens fine.

    Step 2: I double click a PDF from the back of an email attachment/the desktop etc and the file then tries to open in Illustrator.

    Step 3: The file opens but at the same time a blank 'missing font' dialogue box appears and Illustrator crashes. (The missing font is 'Helvetica-bold')

    Step 4: I have to close Illustrator using the task manager.

    This only happens when the FIRST file I open is opened by double clicking it.…

  3. Empty artboard name which changes itself when artboard is resized

    I have a simple template for business card, made long ago, with a single artboard inside.
    Today I created new document based on this template and AI22 has shown this single artboard with no name (which was never touched in template and always was default 'Artboard 1'). It displays as 'Artboard 1' in Artboards paleette, but tag is missing.
    Next, when I add height to this artboard in Control panel, it got renamed to 'Artboard 2', both in tag and palette.
    If I undo this and make change again, it got 'Artboard 3' and so on.
    I expect this artboard…

  4. Moving objects - error message "can't move the object"

    I'm working with vectors and type. Since the update to CC2018, at random moments and in multiple files, I'll select a vector object and select some text, then try to move them, and I'll receive the error message "Can't move the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too large". The problem is going to force me to revert back to the 2017 version of Illustrator - please make sure this is fixed ASAP. See attached screen grab.

    PS: We are only referring to the issue that got introduced in CC 2018. As I can see there were few workflows that were existing even in older releases. Please log a separate request for it so that we all can track it better

  5. Artboard size not working

    Hi,
    Having issues with artboards, including some listed earlier. Today's new issue:

    Created an artboard 490px x 490px. Instead the artboard size is 490px x 489.6px.

    Try to resize artboard, but the action doesn't take. See video.

    Simply fix this bug once and for all.
    It happens over and over and over again.

  9. Rotate Tool flickering objects under transform

    1. 22.0.1 (OSX 10.13.1)
    2. Drawing some element (dosen't matter what), selecting the rotate-tool, trying to rotate the element while holding shift.
    3. being able to rotate in fixed angles.
    4. flickering element, no control over rotation (see video)

  10. Grid snapping don't work on an internal point

    It's not really Smart Guides, take a path drawn freely. After activating the grid, if you want to align an internal point of the path to a point grid you can't. The magnetism applies only on a bounding box of the path, not on the point you show.

  11. Libraries Panel broken

    Although the Libraries panel is open, I cannot select another library, it's stuck on the same one. When I pull up the menu to choose another and click on it, nothing changes. Been like this for a few weeks now.

  12. Spelling mistake in the touchbar Arrange option

    On the newer MacBook Pros with touchbar, there's a spelling mistake if you go to the arrange option on the touchbar. It says "Bring Froward" instead of the usual: "Bring Forward"

  13. update link to illustrator 2017 sdk on https://www.adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/sdk.html

    The move from https://www.adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/sdk.html
    to https://console.adobe.io/downloads/ai left behind a broken link to the 2017 sdk.
    Easiest thing to do would be to update the 2017 sdk link on the old devnet page.

  15. illustrator cc 2018 wrong in export psd after rasterized

    colors change in file export with pantone, my steps are as follows:
    1- I have created a file in illustrator CC 2018 with 8 spot colors or pantone.
    2- rasterize the file with the function "keep spot colors " flagged
    3- export the .psd image with the function in the connection tab
    4- the resulting file has changed colours and wrong result

  17. Editing tabs in Paragraph Styles crashes Illustrator.

    Open attached tab_bug.ai file. Open the Paragraph Styles window. Edit the "Windfall back cover" style. Select the Tabs section. Move the tab to the right. Hit OK. Illustrator crashes.

    I've already reported this at https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/31228633-demo-version-of-illustrator-crashes-constantly-de?tracking_code=a5435faf1626b3287df8c29b149793c7, but this is stripped down to the minimum possible case.

  18. Illustrator 2018 Artboard Problem

    Every time I try to add a new artboard or rearrange existing artboards it causes Illustrator to freeze and I have to force quit. This was not a problem in Ai2017, please fix.

  19. Transparency Abnormal with GPU

    This is mine, latest version 22.0.0 after clean install Windows 10 Pro. Everything seem fine... but After I change transparency normal to other blending mode it's Black

  20. Artboard selection bugs in Illustrator CC 2018

    There are a number of bugs related to Illustrator CC 2018 losing artboard selection (no highlight in the artboard list in the artboard panel), and losing sync between actual artboard selection and displayed (highlighted) selection. These include:

    When copying an artboard by dragging and dropping it onto the New Artboard icon in the Artboard panel, and then dragging that new artboard to a new position in the artboard list, the selection is displayed on the new artboard in its new location, but in fact, the original artboard is still selected.
