Performance is extremely slow when using show grids in outline preview macOS Big Sur 11.4, Illustrator 25.3.1
When switching to outline mode when using show grids, it is almost impossible to keep on working as everything is in slow motion, as if the graphic card is unable to cope. This occurs with a 500 kb file that was trouble free before the last updates.
40 votesIt turns out the problem is fixed only partially in 26.3.1, only for some users, and the performance remains slow when grid is rendered with lines or dots in Outline mode. This applies to zooming, panning and ghosting of objects being moved.
Please help the team by providing your specs and answers to these questions:
1. Does it work fine with grid as dots in Preivew / Outline mode?
2. Does it differ from grid as lines in these modes?
3. What is slow for you exactly? How severe?
4. Is there a difference if you disable 'Grids In Back' option?
5. What are you lines/subdivisions settings?
And any other related feedback is appreciated. Let's track it down and get this really fixed.

テキストにセットしたFOT-UD角ゴが正しく表示されない。（設定の狂った小塚ゴシックで表示される） テキストにセットしたFOT-UD角ゴフォントが正しく表示されない。
ドキュメント内のすべてのFOT-UD角ゴに適用されるわけではなく、正常に表示される部分とされない部分が存在している。ドキュメントを開いた際に、FOT-UD角ゴではなく、UDKakugo LargePr6N-M-90ms-RKSJ-H*のアクティベートを求められることから、UD角ゴを指定した際に、フォントの英語名での指定にすり替わっているのではないかと考えられる。
ディアクティベーション後にリアクティベーションしても治らない。
ドキュメントをFOT-UD角ゴで作って保存後に閉じて開きなおすと、UD-kakugoがないとされて、表示が崩れる。
その後、FOT-UD角ゴを指定しなおしても、小塚ゴシックで表示される。
なので保存をするとUD角ゴを使っていた部分すべてが崩れる。
修正をしても保存したら崩れる。
Adobe Fonts側の問題なのか、illustrator側の問題かわからないので、ここに報告しておく。（フォントの内部的にUDkakukgoの情報が保持されていて、上書きができない？）

Scripting window keeps appearing and no way to remove it Uninstalling/Reinstalling does not remove prompt. Starting appearing after most recent update to with the new ipad features. Going back to older version, the window doesn't appear.
6 votesThis issue is happening due to a security feature added in Illustrator to inform the user if any external application tries to execute a script in Illustrator.

We heard from some users that above solution is not working for them, we are investigating this issue. Meanwhile users can try the below workaround
Create a JSX file with the following content:
app.preferences.setBooleanPreference(“ShowExternalJSXWarning”, false);
Save the above JSX file. Now, go to File > Scripts > Other Script, and choose the newly saved jsx file.This will suppress the warning dialog and run the script.

配置した画像のバウンティングボックスが勝手に大きくなる OS:Windows10
Illustrator Ver:25.2.3psd画像を配置して回転（90°）させると勝手にバウンティングボックスが画像サイズ以上になります。
新しいドキュメントで試すと、最初は回転させても通常のサイズですが、作業を進めていくうちにまた上記のようなエラーが起こります。

ドロップシャドウを適用したオブジェクトをグレースケールに変換するとシャドウ部分がマスクされてしまう macOS10.15.6 Illustrator ver.25.2.3
再現手順：
１．長方形を作成し塗りを設定し、「効果→スタイライズ→ドロップシャドウ」を適用する。
２．１のオブジェクトを選択した状態で「編集→カラーの編集→グレースケールに変換」を適用する。
３．オブジェクトの下に適用されているドロップシャドウ部分がオリジナルの長方形をドロップシャドウパネルの「X軸オフセット・Y軸オフセット」分移動した状態の図形にてマスクされる。
４．「分割・拡張」を適用してアピアランスを分割するとマスクされた状態でビットマップに落とされる。期待する結果：
シャドウをクリッピングせずにカラーの変更のみ行う。実際の結果：
シャドウがクリッピングされてしまう。以前に報告されていた投稿がありましたが、一部に挙動の誤認があるため、新たにバグ登録を行いました。

配置メニューでキーボードアクセラレーター「C」が重複している • Windows 10
• Illustrator Version 25 (all)ファイルメニュー→配置メニューを利用した際にファイルメニューが表示されますが、「クラウドドキュメントを開く」と「置換」で、キーボードアクセラレーター用のキーである「C」が重複し、置換側が働かなくなっています。
Version 24まではクラウドドキュメントのメニューがなかったことから、Version 25としての不具合に相当します。

View Using GPU Gets Greyed Out Permanently with Outline Mode Hello, with fresh preferences, 'View using GPU' and scrubby zoom are enabled in Illustrator. if I turn on Outline Mode, Illustrator loses connection with my GPU. The 'View using GPU' option becomes greyed out and never restores. In order to get it back I have to delete my preferences. Here is my system info:
Illustrator 25.1
OS: Windows 10
GPU: 2 x NVIDIA Titan Black
RAM: 64 GB Memory
GPU Driver: Driver 460.89

Stability update made Illustrator very unstable I noticed the 27/07/2020 update described itself as addressing stability issues, which I didn't have. Since the update ran, 3 hours ago, I've had three crashes - all when copying text and graphics together. My crash report crashed too.

New Illustrator 2020 laggy and slow on the simplest of tasks Illustrator 2020 is really laggy and slow, only when completing simple tasks like colour picking, moving art-boards, selecting different objects, or even just wanting to zoom in or out.

We have observed common operations like Zoom, Pan, and rendering operations are now smoother in cases where it was sluggish as reported in this thread. We urge Mac users to try the Illustrator Beta build with Metal support and share your feedback.

Illustrator 24.2 EPS title information changed to "Adobe Illustrator Artwork" Previously when saving eps files, the "Title" information embedded within the file would be the filename. It appears that with version 24.2 the eps title information defaults to "Adobe Illustrator Artwork". Can this be corrected back to the filename? Our RIP uses this title information and now all our files are being processed with the same name.

BUG: Envelope Distort (with Anti Alias option on) changes colour values of embedded images. When trying to use Envelope Distort (eg Mesh) and the 'Anti Alias' option to maintain clarity, if the artwork features embedded images (eg a multichannel PSD that must be embedded for Envelope Distort action) it is clearly seen the results with and with AA active are different. Only without use of AA will the colour values remain faithful to the original pre-distorted image.
Whilst I would expect some changes along edges, etc. that would benefit the most from using AA, it is seen across the entire image. This is not correct and renders the Envelope Distort function unusable for these…

Line tool is immune to the Constrain Angle When you set up Constraint Angle to 30 or whatever is different form 0 or 90, pick up Line tool and hold Shift, it still snaps to 0, 45, 90, 135... instead of 30, 75, 120, 165...

Illustrator 2020 v24.1.1 - "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" can't save new symbol I tested the new Real-Time Drawing and Editing feature today and found that once I finished my drawing, dragging it over to the Symbols pane to create a new symbol as I normally would resulted in the attached error.
This was the first bit of work I had done since enabling this new feature so I suspected it was the cause and I moved on to two other projects to confirm. delete anchor point tool selecting bottom object When two anchors of different objects are layered on top of one another, the delete anchor point tool will always select the bottom object, whether I have the top object selected or not. The add anchor point tool and direct selection will select the top object, but I want to be able to delete the anchor from the top object without having to go into isolation mode. This wasn't the case in the previous version.
