  2. Expanding strokes lose ability to scale equally

  3. Illustrator 5 crashes everytime i try saving a file

    Hi, every time I try to save my file on illustrator it crashes, I'm using OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, any advice?

  4. Realign Canvas function blurs artwork

    When using the function to realign/sort canvases — including the embedded artwork — the artwork is placed on subpixels, although it was pixel perfect before. This bug appears in the pixel-preview mode, no matter when on CPU or GPU mode.

  5. Files Breaking on Save after creating Saved Swatch Library

    Illustrator v22.0.1: We use art tiles to create repeat prints for textile printing. There is a bug that cause my original .eps files to become garbled after I have used that .eps file to create a saved swatch library. STEP1.png shows the original art file and its save options. STEP2.png shows creating a pattern from the art and its associated settings. STEP3.png shows saving the swatch library (I removed all of the standard Illustrator swatches as they are unnecessary for the custom swatch library).   6. Error message while launching Illustrator CC 2018

    This message in German occurs while launching Illustrator 2018. After saying OK, a fragmentary Applikation displays, which is not operational. It is completely buggy and blocks even Finder until it is being quit.
    "This process can't be completed, because an unknown message has occurred. [CANT]"
    I have to work with the 2017 version.

  7. DrawArt Suite issue on OS 10.13 and CC 2018

    I'm using the AIDrawArtSuite to render objects in my plug-in.

    This function works fine on windows and os x for CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2017 and CC 2018 except for macOS 10.13

    On my macbook pro 2014 with a nvidia card and OS 10.13.2, the result is not correct.
    If I'm disabling the GPU performance, the result is now correct.

  8. Illustrator opening as trial and not recognizing current subscription

    when opening illustrator from CC app manager or directly from start menu,
    illustrator does not allow to open full version even though I have pro subscription. There is a button to buy now but that just takes me to purchase an additional subscription which I'm paid up for. I really need to use Illustrator soon as possible. Thanks

  9. Cannot set tint percentage to C (cyan) value except by sliding cursor

    Illustrator CC 2018
    Windows 10

    If I want to set the tint value of a CMYK colour to the same percentage as the Cyan number (66 in the example below), my only option is to slide the cursor, because typing the value or raching the value with the keyboard arrows don't work.

    This was already an issue with CS6, on both Mac and PC.

    Running Illustrator on Mac Os High Sierra 10.13.1 failed, stand, machine, not accepting mouse. Just press the power button to shutdown and reopen.

  11. Scatter brush rotation orientation to line.

    When using a scatter brush with rotation set to the line (not page) the vertical orientation will randomly flip. For instance, when I'm using the scatter brush to create a bush with stems and leaves pointing up (natural orientation), after creating the line and applying the scatter brush sometimes the brush will apply pointing down.

  12. New Artboard Decimal Rounding

    Illustrator 2015.3.1

    Created a new document, set artboard to 3.375 x 2.125 with .125 inch bleed. Dialog box rounds to 2 decimal places as usual, but I expect that it honors the 3 decimal input. Save document as PDF, place into InDesign using Bleed box, am surprised to discover that document places at dimensions of 3.63 x 2.38.

    Further testing shows that if I enter the proper dimensions with the artboard tool after creating the document, then it honors the 3 decimal places. So it is only the new document dialog that is actually rounding the dimensions.

  13. Character Properties Disappears in "Draw Inside"

    Can't access the Character Properties (like changing font/size/line height) while in "Draw Inside" mode. I have to create/edit text in my main layer and cut/paste it in the "Draw Inside" object.

  15. Artboard edge shows behind an object of the same size as the artboard

    1. CC 22.0.1 (32-bit)
    2. I'm creating a favicon, I started out at 164 px by 164 px and used Shift + Alt to resize it to 50 px by 50 px. Then I changed the size of the Artboard to 50 px by 50 px.
    3. I expected everything to line up and look right.
    4. A small white edge of the Artboard is visible on the right side of the drawing

  16. Illustrator CC 18 freezing on macOS High Sierra

    Ever since upgrading to 2018 Illustrator, it frequently freezes my entire screen after performing simple actions such as moving or rotating objects. Have had to hard-reboot my MacBook Pro 2016 (Touch Bar version) several times which is obviously not good for the system. This is not an issue with any of the other Adobe CC apps I have installed, Photoshop/InDesign/Premiere Pro etc. all work perfectly fine. Please resolve this ASAP - I rely on Illustrator for my work.

  17. Shaper tool eraser bug

    When I scribble over an extra line with the shaper tool the line disappears. if I copy/paste or move the object, the line reappears. its really frustrating that I cannot copy and paste my drawing and makes the shaper tool useless for me. any way to fix this? I added a photo with the extra lines

  18. PDF does not preserve Illustrator editing capabilities!!

    I upgraded two days ago to the new version of Illustrator. I've been saving PDFs with 'Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities' for years. Now when I do it, it's flattening the PDFs and not allowing editing as normal. It has totally ruined two of my complex files and I've lost hours of work.

    Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

    So frustrating!

  19. Saving PDF Security override by gmail

    Dear sir or madam,

    I've noticed as i saved PDF in CS6 to send to a Client and i used password protection with no permissions (printing, copying....)

    And the thing is, if you open the email att. in this case My protected PDF in gmail preview - you can print it with no problems. And if you print to a PDF file, you get the same PD minus the Password protection.

    I think this could be a big issue.

    So i see google's gmail now as an easy fool proof password hack tool.

    hope i helped somehow with this.
