This file has been modified outside illustrator
After updating to Illustrator 24.0, sometimes when saving a file, I get a popup that says 'this file has been modified outside illustrator. do you want to continue?'
We hope this season ends on a joyful note and continues into a safe and prosperous New Year for you and your family.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2020.
We have tried to address this issue in our beta build of 24.0.2.
Please visit adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 24.0.2 (Build 1).
Please do let us know if this issue is resolved for you or not.
With Best Regards,

This bug was fixed with the release of version 22.1 (see previous bug report: http://bit.ly/2XDoBhv) but has crept back in with version 24.0.

Every time I save it pops up a warning the the Illustrator file was modified outside of Illustrator. It is NOT TRUE. Fix this absolutely frustrating JUNK WARNING!

Happens with MAC too! Getting message every 2 min or so. Tried restarting both Illustrator and computer; did NOT fix. Happens when working from server AND off laptop as well.

Same bug on Mojave 10.14.6 all time
Yes, same bug here on Mojave.
Same here—running 24.0 on Mojave 10.14.6 saving to Dropbox.
Same here, running 24.0 on MacOS Majave. Even on the same file, I'll save and the alert comes up, then save again and it doesn't happen. Saving on Google Drive.
I keep getting "file has been modified outside of Illustrator" when I go to save (PC/Windows 10) AFTER I upgraded to 2020. This happens when I'm working from a server AND when I'm working off my laptop.

The people at Adobe have known about this for years, and hey they just dont give a ****. I have been clicking thru that warning for years
I get this popup every time I save to a location that is synced with Dropbox.
This popup never appeared in previous versions of Illustrator.
