illustrator v25.2.1 color profile keeps changing to emulate adobe illustrator 6.0
illustrator v25.2.1 color profile keeps changing to emulate adobe illustrator 6.0 once I set it to our teams color profile. Especially if I switch from AI to PS. Even after changing the profile in Bridge and synchronizing them.

Hi ,
The bug will be fixed when PS is upgraded to the latest version 22.3.1 . Kindly update PS to 22.3.1 and Bridge to the latest version. If the issue still happens, kindly reset your Settings in both PS and Bridge.
Regards,
Aishwarya G Gadodia

Short term solution for the problem:
Use the Adobe Creative Cloud app to downgrade Photoshop to 22.2.0
Then fix you color settings in Illustrator and Indesign. Worked for me and others.

Same problem for me. Despite the switch from Photoshop and illustrator to the previous version. It must be fixed quickly by Adobe, we can not work with this kind of bug !!!

A bug this disruptive justifies reimbursement for this month's subscription fee. Downgraded both PS and AI but colour issues persist. This is untenable.

Same issue here. Downgrading Photoshop to version 22.2 fixed it for me.

Adobe is taking too long to resolve. really annoying. your only luck remains the fact that today there are no competitors. if only one existed ...

Switched back to previous version of Illustrator and Photoshop. This solved the issue.

Same issue here. It do literally crashed my computer: a mac on Sierra a PC on windows 10 (i7 processors) and a mac on Big Sur (Apple processor).
So this issue is really annoying and frustrating. -

Workaround (hopefully temporary): downgrade Photoshop to 22.2
It's Photoshop 22.3 that's causing the issue with both Illustrator and InDesign.
After installing PS 22.2 change the color setting in Ai to your preference, this issue should not happen again. It worked for me. -

This issue is being caused by Photoshop, and happens in Illustrator and InDesign. Even happens when the apps are closed... just have to open or switch to Photoshop and color settings are changed.
This is NOT an adobe Bridge issue. I've tried several times and it does not correct the problem.

Designing in AI in CMYK - color shifts to RGB after distilling. Color shift shows up in Bridge and Photoshop too. Everything was fine until the last software update. This situation has wreaked havoc on my work flow!

Same issue here! Would this cause red to print more of a reddish brown, even though it looks red on screen?

The color settings in Illustrator keep reverting to "Emulate Adobe 6.0" in Illustrator, when they should be set on "Adobe RGB". Every time I hide the app or I switch to another app window, the colour reverts to this washed out, dull version. I've already checked my colour settings in Bridge and even though it's synchronised, it says it is unsynchronised in my CC apps. It's very annoying having to do this every time I switch to Ai and makes my workflow very slow. Please suggest a fix!
