When reporting a bug, please provide a detailed description with the following:

- The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop)
- The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues

- Upload your Illustrator file or a video (screen recording or gif, this helps us most to reproduce the issue and resolve it)

Path render error See screenshot. All I did was add opacity to a path and it renders it like this. Happens all the time since I updated.

'Scrap' appearing in preview mode See screen grabs; unwanted shapes appear along contours in filled shapes.

Artwork disappears when zoomed in Whenever I am zooming in (2400% +), my artwork disappears and the who canvas turns gray. If I mouse over my artwork, i'll see a very pixelated outline of my artwork. I've attached a screenshot of my issue. I've tried restarting my MBP, uninstalling and reinstalling AI. I've tried closing out AI and reopening– but nothing I am doing is fixing this issue. Please help, I need to continue working on client projects.

Illustrator running really slow, no GPU preview Hi Illustrator 25.3.1 is running horribly slow on my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) / 2.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 / 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 / Radeon Pro 555X 4 GB - it is constantly running CPU Preview, I cannot get it to use GPU. Zoom in and out is awful to use. Illustrator is impeding my productivity. Please help.

GPU Preview rendering incorrectly Having issues with text and some compound paths acting like they are open paths when previewing with GPU. Viewing in CPU preview renders correctly.
We have had this issue on both 2017 iMacs and new Windows 10 machines.Adobe Illustrator 25.2

GPU Preview not available (grayed out) after editing artboard With newest version of illustrator the GPU acceleration and GPU-Preview fails in some files. To test it i have created a blank document and the GPU preview works. But when I edit the artboard, the GPU preview is turned off at that moment and cannot be reactivated. Reset the Illustrator-Settings to default doesn't fix it.
Illustrator 25.2, MacPro2013, GPU AMD FirePro D700, Monitor 2560x1600Pixel, Wacom-Tablet, MacOs Catalina and Mojave testet.

AI loses GPU support when using rulers or accessing grouped elements Hello @ Adobe!
Both of my macs (Big Sur, latest updates) show the same reproducible bug with Adobe Ai Version 25 (incl. 25.2): GPU support works just fine when I open a new document and start from scratch. Turning on Rulers or accessing grouped elements by double click instantly turns off GPU support wich I cannot turn back on. After that Ai responds slowly and overall it’s no pleasure to work with. To fix this I need to make sure that in a document all rulers and guides are switched off/deleted. With these measures I can reopen the document and…4 votes -
Cant see object while moving it with selection tool When Real-Time Drawing and Editing feature is turned ON - Objects wit no fill and no stroke become completely invisible when dragging with the Selection tool.

Separations preview imac 5k very slow There is some problem with Overprint preview turned on, everything becomes verry laggy. I'm on iMac 2019 27" with 40gb of RAM, SSD drive, no plugins. No matter which document is opened, the problem is same - very slow illustrator movement.
Only sollution is to run Illustrator in Low Resolution mode, then the problem does not exist.

Scroll zoom not working When I zoom in using alt + scroll down, the canvas jitters; it zooms out then in.

Scrubby Zoom - GPU View greyed out I'm unable to toggle GPU Preview.
This is a new concern since I was able to toggle it on/off a few weeks ago.

Cannot Successfully Get Into Project AI opens normally but when I start a new file things go awry. The home screen image remains "ghosted" over the blank project. Any side panel I open and close will then appear as if it is both open and closed at the same time. If I toggle the visability of the layer then it sort of clears the project screen to an almost normal looking project start (as in it clears the ghosted panels and home screen) but I cannot draw or do anything on the project. Visual breakdown bug when zoomed in < 30000% In keyline and normal view, when zooming in very close, the image breaks down. This didn't happen in previous versions. The first attached image shows the image correctly, with zoom at 12750%. The second attachment shows the image 'broken down' when zoomed in further. The multitude of diagonal lines shouldn't be there (these increase when panning) and the selected line (that I'm trying to work on) should be a complete line, not an endpoint. This bug makes detailed work very difficult.

Part of an object's position is shifted with no distortion effects. Moving/undoing move resets position correctly This was a devastating glitch for us. I've seen this happen before sporadically but I have no idea what causes it or how to catch it. If anyone else has seen this and/or knows a solution to catch issues like this, please let me know. There were no effects or special attributes applied to the artwork in the appearance panel

GPU preview gets disabled In Illustrator version 26.0.2 the GPU preview is disabled when rulers are shown or you enter outline or isolation mode. This bug has been around since at least v24.
How embarrassing....

GPU issues with certain graphics cards and Mac updates So after a lot of time spent on chat and phone with Adobe. It seems that I am unable to use v25.4.1 or v26 in GPU mode unless I upgrade to Monterey.
However Monterey is in its infancy. I'm not taking the risk of upgrading yet.
My machines both have the same GPU redraw issues, where images within clipping masks create echoed glitches of themselves across the screen. this disappears when GPU mode is turned off.
CPU mode in Illustrator is so sluggish it's pretty much unworkable.
Adobe informs me this is NOT an Adobe issue, it is an issue…
