When reporting a bug, please provide a detailed description with the following:

blank screen Blank screen appears before opening a file. App is crashing now and then, nit sure of the trigger yet.

Keyboard arrow not working in reflect panel The down arrow works but the up arrow on the keyboard does not. Works fine in all other aspects using Illustrator, just the reflect panel is having issues.

Unticking "Use Artboards" when saving PDF does not work as expected Illustrator 24.0
Expected result: A PDF file containing a single page of all the artwork in the document. Artboards should be completely ignored. Page size, cropbox, artbox, trimbox and bleedbox should all be equivalent to the total size of all the artwork in the document.
Actual result: PDF contains one page for each artboard, seemingly identical to what happens when "Use Artboards" is ticked.

Move objects always moves downwards in y direction, behaves fine in x Selecting an object and hitting ENTER brings up the 'Move' dialog and, for a while now, negative values moved things up and positive values moved things down the y axis. Fair enough, we all got used to it. As of today, things behave differently and everything is always moved up, unless I adjust the angle in the two entry fields below. Please see attached GIF.

Duplicated artboards containing Export Assets link to the new artwork not the original As the title says, Assets in the Export panel move from the original artboard and become linked to the new artwork on the duplicated artboards. Subsequently when you remove any artwork from the new artboard, you inadvertantly remove the asset from the Export panel.
Methodology:
Duplicate an artboard (which contains an asset in the export assets panel) via the Alt-drag method. Ensure the move/copy artwork option is enabled. Delete the new copy of the artwork/asset on the new artboard, and the asset is removed from the export panel.Expected behaviour:

Illustrator Recovery-Mode has Turned all my Images Black I was in the process of saving my original Illustrator file and it froze then crashed, I re-opened the software and it recovered the document but all my images have turned black.
And it's not a links problem, most images are embedded and I have a separate links folder containing the remaining linked images, as you can see there are no missing links.

Choose where to place new artboard Choose where to place new artboard, like how Illustrator used to act:
Please bring back the ability of a user to control where new artboards appear, rather than Illustrator always putting it next to whatever artboard might be selected or last one made. In earlier versions of Illustrator, users could make a new artboard in any particular location by simply clicking the artboard tool in the paste board.
It is SO frustrating to make a new artboard in some odd location and then have to move it to where you wanted it to be in the first place.

The Operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [x!fd] This issue happens with older templates. When I open older files, it gives this message: The Operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [x!fd]. I have a gotten this message in 2017 and Adobe step up to fix the issue, but the previous update and this one still has the issue. I can open these in previous versions of Illustrator. It's really a pain to fix the file as I have to save in Illustrator 8 and then reimport the text as this conversion converts the type to curves. Now to make matters worse if I save the file…

Shortcut for 'New File From Template' does not work - Illustrator 22.1
- shift-command-N is the shortcut to open a new file from template
- Instead of the template folder appearing, to let me pick one of the dozens of templates we use…
- nothing happen, most of the time. But the "Type" category in the top of screen UI bar gets a highlight, indicating that this template shortcut is calling to some level in the "Type" category instead of the "File" category.

Artwork moves with Artboard even with layers locked. Not sure if this has already been addressed. I just became aware of this site. I am using CC 2018, on my Mac running 10.13.3. Usually if I lock the layers I can move the artboard independently, not anymore.

new documents window with the same "template save" button like Photoshop CC I think that the button to save an template how it works in photoshop is missing. And i hope that she comes... Finally, the rubric "saved" already exists.

Deleting Successive Artboards If you have a list of artboards and try and delete several of them in a row, deleting one will deselect the list. This is not a major issue in most cases, but it is a nuisance when having to quickly delete 40 or more artboards; it doubles the number of commands that need to be inputted before reaching the same result.

Can only open 1 Ai file at a time Can only open one Ai file at a time. If current Ai file open is open in Illustrator and you try to open another file concurrently through all means, it will not open. The only way around this is to open each file in a different version of Illustrator, or completely close Ai to open the new file.

"Control Click to Select Objects Behind" not working I've contacted Adobe about this in the past. It is still not working. I have selected "Control Click to Select Objects Behind" in Preferences...and yet this does not work. Please get it to work. It's a pretty important function.

The "HDV 1080" preset needs fixing The "HDV 1080" preset resolution is 1920x1080. Small point, but the resolution of HDV is 1440x1080, so the naming of it is kinda wrong. I think in Photoshop, AE & Premiere, it's referred to as the "HDTV 1080" preset, so I think it's probably a mistake/typo by someone at Adobe.
Also, the preset gives you an extra artboard which is 14400 x 14400 px for some reason (I imagine it's also a bug), so when you try to export your file, it always defaults to exporting this artboard unless you delete it. Again, small thing but clearly a mistake and…

Rearrange artboard does not work with large artboards... Having an issue with the Rearrange All Artboards feature when using very large art boards. See attached screenshot. Two artboards, one 6x16ft and one 3x9ft. Rearrange All Artboards using columns only seem to give an error of: "Rearrangement would take some artboards out of canvas bounds." even though the artboard could be arranged manually with the same settings.
Unrelated: Can you PLEASE allow uploading of videos again (specifically webm). It really helps when trying to communicate bugs and feature requests).
