1. Can't change the color of a gradient stop to an existing swatch

   Most infuriating Gradient Swatch forever bug. This bug has been persistent through the past several updates and I don't understand why Adobe is ignoring such an infuriating bug that should not be that hard to correct. Click on the gradient stop and select a swatch from the popup swatches palette and no effect.

2. Round cap overlap when using gradient along stroke

   Gradient along stroke and round cap overlaps. It is visible when the gradient is transparent. MEanwhile projecting cap does not have this issue.
   Please resolve this ASAP, my client is waiting and there is no workaround.

   1. Operating system: Both Windows and Mac has this issue.
   2. Illustrator version: 27.2
   3. How to replicate the bug: Make line, add stroke with transparency at the end, apply gradient along stroke, apply round cap.
   4. Expected result is that the cap should not overlap with the stroke.

3. Expanding a path with a gradient doesn't expand, just creates a group with the same path

   I want to expand a gradient applied to a path so that I have bands of colour as vectors in place of the gradient.

   I have been using this tool in this way successfully but this week there seems to be a bug: it works until it doesn't and then doesn't work at all.

   If I quit Illustrator and reopen everything it might work again, but with some paths it doesn't work at all. Please see my screenshots.

4. Problem with tracing feature

   Hi.
   I have a problem with tracing feature. Never have I been able to use this feature, not once. Each time the error message appears: "Can not be fully executed because an unknown problem has occurred (CANT)".
   Why is that?
   Can someone help me?

5. Gradients with opacity act as a clipping mask for objects behind them

   When working with complex groups and gradients, often times an object with a semi-transparent gradient ends up removing the graphics from grouped items below it.

   The solution I've found is to ungroup and regroup items, but I feel this shouldn't happen in the first place. It also disrupts my workflow and how I group items in the first place.

   I don't know how to describe the steps to recreate it, other than "it happens sometimes." I think it happens more often if I've created Blends, even if those blends have been expanded.

   The images attached show two examples of what's happening, and one example of what the intended result was.

6. Gradient visible banding

   Hi me and my team are having some problems with the gradients in illustrator.
   When we try to make a simple gradient it seems like it was mad in steps and not clean and smooth as it used to be. Anyone is having the same problem or now how to fix it? P.S. I leave you a screenshot so u can understand the source of the problem.

7. I can't use the freeform gradient tool in Illustrator for some reason.

   For some odd reason, freeform gradient is not usable. I add in rectangles and saved images but nothing works. In addition, the other gradient tools are available for selection but have no impact on the image as well.

   I'm using version 27.4 (64 bit) on a Samsung.

8. Issues with drawing inside a vector with freeform gradient

   Operating system: MacOS Monterey
   Illustrator version: 26.5

   When I try to draw inside a vector I made, the colour of the vector changes and I was advised in the Adobe forum that this is likely a bug with the freeform gradient.

   Here's what I've done:

   I have created a vector with a freeform gradient.

   I press the vector and choose draw inside.

   I click outside the vector.

   I choose the brush tool and change to the colour I want.

   I draw inside the vector.

   The colour of the vector changes.

   I have also recorded a video so that you can see what happens.

9. When using gaussian blur or outer glow on top of a gradient object, the gradient underneath becomes transparent.

   The object in the pictures shown is applied the outer glow effect. When I place the object on top of the shape applied with gradient colors, the gradient becomes transparent as the glow appears to have disappeared.

11. Adjusting gradient on ONE selection adjusts ALL other objects with the same gradient

    When I select ONE object with an existing gradient and then try to adjust it, it will change ALL objects that have that same gradient. Extremely frustrating.

13. Radial gradient generates broken CSS

    Illustrator CC 22.1. To reproduce, create a rectangle with fill set to any radial gradient. Name the rectangle, open CSS Properties window. Observe the generated CSS:

    There are 3 problems here:

    1. On line 8 of the CSS (the legacy IE -ms-filter rule), the semicolon is inside the double quotes instead of outside, making it invalid.
    2. In the legacy IE "-ms-filter" and "filter" rules, lines 8 and 14, Style is misspelled as "Stlye".
    3. How would an alpha filter be equivalent to a radial gradient in legacy IE versions in the first place?

14. Problem with gradient mesh created in InDesign

    Why is it that when I open a PDF created in InDesign with a gradient mesh, in Illustrator, the mesh becomes a solid fill?

15. Freeform gradient gets stuck on color stop mode

    I created a circle with a freeform gradient and when I tried to deselect the gradient, it would not deselect the color stops inside the gradient. Even when I had another object selected and tried to change the fill color, it said "color stop" was selected to fill in the top left corner. I also tried switching to my other open projects and the problem was still occurring even in projects with no gradients.

16. Gradient on a path bug (copy and paste coverts path to outline path)_Ongoing issue!

20. apply shadow effect on this file, the app crashes

    whenever i use and effect (shadow) in this file the computer automatically crashes.

    been doing a file that it includes this chart, but whenever I save the file,
