    To summarize what we are fixing:

    Method :

    1. Launch Illustrator
    2. Create new document with 10 artboards
    3. Go to Window > Align
    4. From flyout menu select Show Options
    5. Change "Align To" option to "Align to Artboard"
    6. Select artboard tool
    7. Exit artboard tool
    8. Observe the Align To option in Align panel

    Result : "Align To" option changes to "Align to Selection"
    Expected : "Align To" should be preserved

    Do mention if you intended something extra via this bug.

    @Volodymyr: In place of using a modifier to attach with resize, we can modify move-content-with-artboard preference to move-resize-content-with-artboard control panel. does that sound good?

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Adobe technical support says that Illustrator currently is not tested for and is not approved to work in domain environments.

    This forum is for Illustrator specific bug/ feature requests. For Adobe application wide requests, tech support can help.

    You can prefer SVG file format for working with vectors outside Illustrator.
