    We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3


    You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this issue, Illustrator team really appreciate this.
    Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce this issue in house.

    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
    1)Are you able to Activate Fonts from:
    a)Creative Cloud Desktop Fonts tab
    b)Adobe Fonts Website
    c)Adobe Illustrator Character panel Find More tab
    d)Open a missing font file.

    when you activate Fonts from above method:
    e)Do you get CCD Fonts Activate Notification
    f)Were these fonts available in AI or any other adobe apps like InDesign after activation.

    If font is getting installed and not appearing in Ai then please do below mentioned steps as workaround and let us know result:
    MAC: /Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings//
    Win: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings\\x64\
    Save the following files to some other location and Delete the following files:
    i)AdobeFnt_CMaps.lst
    ii)AdobeFnt_OSFonts.lst
    iii)FontFeatureCache.jason

    If you are not able to install font itself, please proceed with below steps:
    i)QUIT AI and CCD
    ii)can you try force quit coresync from task manager in win and activity monitor on mac
    iii)Relaunch CCD and Illustrator and try to activate fonts again

    Kindly provide above information and share with us at ShareWithAI@adobe.com in a Zip file. Please mention the title of this issue as the subject of the mail.

    Will it be possible for you to join a Teams Debugging session with the Illustrator team so that we can isolate this issue further?

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We would request you to try the below steps and see if this resolves the issue.

    Step 1: Close Illustrator

    Step 2 Open preferences folder on your machine
    If you are using “Adobe Illustrator CC 2017” then your preferences folder will be “Adobe Illustrator 21 Settings”
    If you are using “Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3” then your preferences folder will be “Adobe Illustrator 20 Settings”

    MAC: /Users/<User Name>/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 21 Settings/<Locale e.g. en_US>/
    Win: C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 21 Settings\<Locale e.g. en_US>\x64\

    Save the following files to some other location and Delete the following files:
    AIMenuFaceCache
    AdobeFnt_CMaps.lst
    AdobeFnt_OSFonts.lst
    FontFeatureCache.jason

    Please relaunch adobe illustrator and Check the font should appear in the Font List of character Panel.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Thanks for your response .
    We have tried to address this issue in our Prerelease build of 25.2.2 and fix is not yet available to BETA of 25.3 .
    Kindly try with the Prerelease build of version 25.2.2 from CCD “Prerelease” tab in Categories section.

    Hi Mike,

    Have you removed the plugin from the Plugin Folder i.e.
    Go to the application/Install Location->Adobe Illustrator <version>->Plugins->remove the extensis plugin from that location(you can move the plugin to the desktop and then delete the plugin from the original location).

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you by this Issue.

    We are unable to reproduce this issue from Scratch , while investigating the file provided on the UV we found when we copy paste the text inside the text object to Text Editor(like Notepad, Sublime) we are able to see the extra Characters which appears on Outline in Illustrator.

    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
    If yes, then please let me know the following:
    1)Are you able to recreate this issue in a fresh document or How such file can be actually created .
    2)Kindly provide the steps/Video to recreate the file from scratch in which issue is reproducible.

    3) Are you also facing this issue in Outline Mode?
    4) Kindly turn your Network Off & Icould off, Repeat your steps with which you are facing issue and share your finding with us are you still facing the same issue?
    5) Is this issue also reproducible on previous version of Ai i.e. 22.1 , Adobe Illustrator CC 2018?
    6) Which operating system you are using Windows or Mac and Which OS version ?
    Kindly provide your system information :
    Win:
    In the Run window, enter msinfo32 and click OK to open the System Information window.
    In the System Information window, choose File > Save.
    Save the file in .NFO format on the desktop and share with us
    Mac:
    Click on Apple Icon->About this Mac->System Information
    File->Save , Save the file and share with us.

    We are able to reproduce this issue in house and we are investigating it .

    Meanwhile ,kindly use workaround of using fresh preferences by renaming your preference folder "Adobe Illustrator <version number> Settings" at below mentioned location
    Win: <OSDisk>\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\
    Mac: <OSDisk>/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/
