Please let user choose the default setting by keeping the last used setting when rebooting Ai.
Or by letting users change the default setting in the Preferences panel.
Settings:
1. Magic Wand
2. Align To
3. Pathfinder Precision

Yes, please make some option to change the default values of magic wand tool!
I always use 0 Tolerance and setting this up every day is very frustrating!
Or at least make default Tolerances 0 -

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.

Hi,
This is very bad!On the new release 24.3 I saw a new fix "Align To setting remembers the last setting when relaunched".
I tried it out and it turns out that every time I load Ai the Align To resets to default "Align to selection".
This means I have to set it back from default every time I start Ai!
This is unbelievably frustrating!Why can't you just let users set the default values in the Preferences panel for settings like this?

Hi Everyone,
We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 24.2.1 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.
Please note that after upgrading you might still see that Align To sets itself to Align to Key Object. If you see this, please manually set the Align To to the required setting, and this reported bug will not happen again. You’ll need to this one time only.
The reason Align To might get set to Key Object after update is because Ai remembers your last Align To on subsequent launches as well. So, if your last Align To was Key Object before quitting/upgrading, after first multi-selection, it will set itself to Key Object. After you manually change it one-time, it will work fine.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Illustrator allows option to Simulate Color Paper, whereby user can pick any color as the background. (This is accessible from File -> Document Setup)
Does this help solve the described concerns?

Yes - default "Align To" used to be which ever setting was used the last time.
On the new release 24.3 I saw a new fix "Align To setting remembers the last setting when relaunched".
I tried it out and it turns out that every time I load Ai the "Align To" resets to default "Align to selection".
This means I have to set it back to "Align to Artboard" every time I start Ai!
This is unbelievably frustrating!
Please return the "Align to" settings to what it was in Ai 2019
or let users set the default value for "Align to".
