Bug - Graduated stroke colors automatically changed!
A graduated stroke color was in a saved file applied to a brush stroke. I had not been in the file for several months. The preview appeared full color, but when I opened the file, it was like the opacity of the colors had been turned down, except they hadn't been! Inside the file, it appears faint. But the stroke does not indicate the opacity has been reduced. It is so confusing since the file has not been opened for over two months.
Don't know if it is a gradient or brush stroke issue or a compatibility issue.

Kristie, I see an InDesign document (with all the links omitted)... it’s not an Illustrator .ai document — although Ai is depicted on your original screenshot.
Is it a mistake? -

Here is the file. I will also look into your suggestions below. I don't know the situation of my GPU and CPU. My guess is that is automatically happening, but I will check into that also.

This is strange, I don’t recall seeing anything like this.
The Swatches panel won’t tell you much, you’d need to look into the Appearance panel, to study stroke.Kristie, can you share this file here, please? The team would need it to study the behavior and make a fix if something got broken.
You can do it here in a comment, or send it via sharewithai@adobe.com (in this case mention the link to this report, for backtracking, http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/51147715)Also, please check — does it look the same when you toggle Preview mode from GPU to CPU? What is your GPU?
