It is not as straightforward as it may sound :) We have been working to take advantage of threads and other hardware such as GPU/Video RAM in places where it can make a higher impact. We are prioritizing areas that are slow instead of making a generic change and destabilizing the product. Product stability is the top priority for us and we have been consistently trying to improve it. We want to move with caution and make changes without compromising on the quality. Hope this helps.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Egor, what do you mean Transform tools ticked in Smart Guides options? Where is this located please? If I turn Smart Guides off, it seems to fix this problem, but if there's something else better as a temp solution please let me know as I like Smart Guides!

While an object or text block is selected, holding ctrl/cmd and pressing arrow keys to nudge doesn't seem to have any effect. Could this not be used to nudge by a small increment?
When you are changing the value of a number within illustrator, the up and down arrows + ctrl/cmd make the number change by a 10th. Could the same not be used for moving an object or text around, maybe a 10th of the set "keyboard increment" to make smaller nudges? It could even be set in the preferences menu how much the ctrl/cmd + nudge increment is.

As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

In CC 2019 (latest update 23.0.1), at 100% Zoom 1inch artwork would display at 1inch in physical (Print) size, on any display. If this doesn’t work right for screen design workflows, please use the checkbox Preferences > General > Display Print Size at 100% Zoom, to turn off the feature. Currently this feature works only on primary display, and there are plans of extending this to other attached displays.

Unless this is because of the it being in the save dialoge box as version: "Illustrator 2020"... was it previously Illustrator CC before vr 24.1.1 ?

The most recent version finally has the Object > Distribute menu added.
Now both Align and Distribute commands can be accessed via menu and have assigned keyboards shortcuts to them.
The order of the commands though seemingly matches the one the panel has: horizontal first for Align and vertical first for Distribute. Also, Align To and Distribute Spacing commands are still missing in top menus, so please keep voting here to make them added too.

I think the best solution here, that would solve this and many other peoples requests is to make any keys customize as shortcuts for either tools, menu commands or palette commands like pathfinder (without having to include the ctrl/cmd key as you currently require with menu commands.

Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

I have wanted this feature for years, would be very handy and time saving.
Yes agreed, this should be the only feature to focus on. We don't need any of these useless little updates to unimportant tools. Personally being on a low income, combined with witnessing all these important issues that go unresolved for years, I am changing to affinity designer this month.
