   Background Save is now available in Illustrator CC 2020 (24.0.0 or higher versions).

   Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

   Please remove the "close anyways" button. It is not needed and is easily clicked in error when moving quickly. I have already lost files due to this addition. While I love that it saves in the background I wish it was treated more like Photoshop, where it notified you that it was saving and that it would close when finished.
