    We finally got the control over the active artboard border color.

    In Beta 30.1.0.89, in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, in the new Artboard Display section, we now can choose the color and the border width in pixels — black, 1 px by default, as usual. We can set it 4 px maximum

    The border tries to get aligned by center, but stays pixel-perfect, so choosing 3 is safe. Color choices are the same as we get with layers’ colors, with a custom option as well.

    There’s no way to tweak inactive artboards’ borders. Please comment if this solution is working for you and if there’s anything you need to have it perfect.

    It's urgent to change this horrible edge that completely blocks creativity. Visually, it's an aberration for creativity software. This isn't accounting software.
    It would simply be enough to be able to activate it or not.

    Default or Custom Preferences, it's the same, it doesn't work in both cases. On Beta 29.8 it works.

  3. Focus the Search field in Preferences (introduced in Beta 29.7.0.60) when the dialog gets opened, and focus the found and highlighted option

    Indeed, it's a real hassle to get to the increment box. And in addition when we are there, after putting our value, we can't even do ok on the keyboard, we have to do it with the mouse or stylus!!!

    Exemple :
    plan de travail avec fond perdu 5 mm,
    puis un autre plan de travail 3 mm,
    puis un autre plan de travail sans fond perdu, etc…
