I just upgraded Illustrator. I have worked on this file for a couple of hours. It is a file with several items and many paths. All of a sudden I lost Preview mode. Even after restarting the computer, I cannot get the preview back on all of these items by using Command Y. I manually turned on eyeballs in the layers pallet, it turned on a couple of items but then warning dialog appeared again. I don't know if this is a bug or my computer gone awry..Anonymous shared this idea ·

I simplified my file and it still did not preview.
I closed the file and opened a simple Illustrator document. This file previewed fine.
I reopened the problem file and simplified it. The file still does not preview. It all happened like someone flipped a switch. Now it needs to flip back. The usual key commands do not work.
