    This is a bug that should be fixed. I really don’t understand why double-tapping to paste is even a thing. It should be super easy to deselect text. That said, the setting in the iPad app to deselect with double tap using the pencil is not working and this is a bug and a very painful one at that.

    To confirm, I am using the latest Apple Pencil and iPad Pro, all up to date, from 2021 and have gone into app settings-input-Apple pencil-double-tap-deselect object or path
